How can Cath Kidston do buggies? Someone earlier said buggy is chavvy. Does that mean Cath Kidston is now chavvy. :)

catgirl1976 · 06/03/2012 17:27

I have a coach built Silvercross - that is the pram

I also have a little Quinny Zapp - that is the buggy

They are very different - they are not the same thing - they have different names

Livergirl1981 · 06/03/2012 17:30

I don't think it's chavvy it's definitely called a buggy on the website

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 06/03/2012 17:30

Its a pram.
I am the Queen.

You must obey me.

That is all.

MadameChinLegs · 06/03/2012 17:33

I have a pushchair (I think that's what it's called...a Maclaren umbrella fold type thing). I call it a pram as it's quicker. Those extra half a seconds add up Grin

cocolepew · 06/03/2012 17:33

CK is not chavvy, I have CK gutties and I'm not a chav.

So ner.

OP posts:
TheOneWithTheHair · 06/03/2012 17:34

gutties?

KatieScarlett2833 · 06/03/2012 17:34

It fucking is Coco

Get some exercise in your CK gutties.

diddl · 06/03/2012 17:35

I had a Silvercross that converted from a pram to a pushchair.

So I tend to think of a pushchair as being on a chassis & a buggy as a chair/seat on anything else!

BigGirlInASmallWorld · 06/03/2012 17:37

I do not like buggy

cocolepew · 06/03/2012 17:40

Yes gutties. Problem milk buyer?

I have now just sacked ds. He's 15 and reckons he's an authority on shoes. I asked him what gutties are and even told him they were an item of clothing and he still didn't know.

Poor thing. Merciless piss taking from me. Thanks coco you've made my night! small things

lisianthus · 06/03/2012 18:10

"No I'm not, fuck off" to "don't you think you are being a bit aggressive?" Response of the day. Grin

I call it a pram too. All the different sorts of names do my head in, so I gave up and call them ALL prams. My mother calls them "pushers", which may be Aussie regional slang.

I was in Harrods once though, and thought I'd do some windowshopping of the expensive ones, and when I asked where the prams were, they had no idea what I meant even though I was on the correct floor. Suspect this means that "pram" may indeed be a Non-U term.

pourmeanotherglass · 06/03/2012 18:14

YABVU to care about such trivia.

I'm having a bad day, I wish the worst thing i had to worry about is what you call your baby-car
