Some c**t has kindly allowed their dog to shit on the corner outside our house- a route commonly used by kids going to school/oldies on their merry way. I cant bring myself to move someone elses dogs shit nor should I have to but I dont want it sat outside the house being trod in and walked all around the neighbourhood. WIBU to ring the council and ask them to sort this environmental health risk as tbh im fucking fuming

Threads like this are kinda comforting.

When people say 'MN is just not what it used to be' we can refer them to this thread and say

'it is as it ever was and evermore shall be'

sixlostmonkeys · 05/03/2012 11:40

Worra wins the prize Grin

and don't go poo pooing my jokes mind. I'm going to enter Britain's got talent, but am worried that I may be in competition with kids and their giant poo piles.

I think in all seriousness the dog shit situation is better than it used to be.

People really frown on dog shitters nowadatys, when I was a girl people just used to let their dog shit all over. Lovely memories of playing sandcastles on the beacg and picking up a fresh dog turd by accident. Or stepping in a turd and it squeezing through the hols of my jelly shoes. Envy

Pendeen · 05/03/2012 11:44

In the bright, self-reliant future planned for us, Cameron's 'Big Society' will take of all these problems.

There won't be any councils left so everything wil be up to 'community action.'

sixlostmonkeys · 05/03/2012 11:44

I pity the stool who tries! Grin

WorraLiberty · 05/03/2012 11:45

I have memories of picking up white dog poo as a child and trying to draw a hopscotch grid with it Sad

EauDeLaPoisson · 05/03/2012 11:46

Oh six that was a'poo'lling

lol at you lot

iamme43 · 05/03/2012 11:47

If you [op] read all my post instead of just picking out bits, you would know it is not the poo that makes me laugh it is the fact you cannot bring yourself to swamp it away.

And plastered in poo what do they do roll around in it like a dog.

Or is it in fact elephant poo and if this is the case I do think you should ring someone if there is an elephant on the loose.

sixlostmonkeys · 05/03/2012 11:48

yay! at last!
Shit ain't so bad when you learn how to laugh at it is it :)

iamme43 · 05/03/2012 11:51

Toilet humor always makes me laugh.

OP has it been seen to yet by an official................... its nearly midday and maybe time for another dog walk from the offender.

IAmBooyhoo · 05/03/2012 11:52

"Yes sorry to break it to you but kids often end up plastered in dog faeces its a talent they have"

wouldn't that be even more reason to remove it from outside your house rather than leave it there for however long it takes for the council to get there?

sixlostmonkeys · 05/03/2012 11:52

sorry - my last post was aimed at eaudelapoison's joke

WorraLiberty · 05/03/2012 11:52

All this could have been avoided if he'd done a poo at Paul's

iamme43 · 05/03/2012 11:53

plastered to me means head to toe.

Usually it is just on a shoe surely...................... I cannot remember my son ever stepping in any, he is always on RED ALERT like SAS ...lol

sixlostmonkeys · 05/03/2012 11:55

SAS?

Swamp Away Son ?

EauDeLaPoisson · 05/03/2012 11:56

If you could copy and paste where I said covered from head to toe? And boys with their trousers dragging across the floor frequently get it on more than their shoes but carry on being obtuse its not just you that is amused by this thread

If more people reported dog shit to the council when they found it (yes the council is duty bound to clean it up), local councils might actually decide that it is worth employing dog wardens to catch people not cleaning up after their dogs and impose the fines they are so keen to advertise. I counted the number of shits I passed on my walk to town one day and worked out the amount of money owing to the council in fines (yes I did have a lot of time on my hands that day Wink ). The system would easily pay for itself many times over.

The only reason people leave dog shit is because there is no comeback for the selfish fuckers if they do. the only reason the council doesn't impose their advertised fines is they don't see it as a priority/worth their while. If they were having to send out cleaners left right and centre that might change.

So YANBU. report the poo

iamme43 · 05/03/2012 11:58

My sons trousers do not drag across the floor they sit just right.

So what is your definition of plastered then?

iamme43 · 05/03/2012 12:03

Just a little divert.

What about horse poo, nobody has to pick that up, it is just left there.

I know it does not have the toxins of dog poo, but nevertheless still sticky.

sixlostmonkeys · 05/03/2012 12:10

ahh but they fight to pick up the horse poo. Great for the roses.

Plastered means shit faced. Those poor poor children.
