Some c**t has kindly allowed their dog to shit on the corner outside our house- a route commonly used by kids going to school/oldies on their merry way. I cant bring myself to move someone elses dogs shit nor should I have to but I dont want it sat outside the house being trod in and walked all around the neighbourhood. WIBU to ring the council and ask them to sort this environmental health risk as tbh im fucking fuming

I completely understand where the Op is coming from. There is so much dog poo on the pavements between home and the school and shop that the only way to avoid getting it on the pram wheels is to go out on the road. To clean it up would take me quite a long time due to the volume. I don't own a dog so not one bit of the crap is down to me.. Last month the council pressure washed the street, it was impassable again within the week, there are so many offenders.

getorf I'd applaud you more if you kicked the dog owner who won't clean up in the ass.

Did anyone else notice the OP's admission of guilt? Shock

It might have been one dollop by me but it's numerous on the way to school each morning and afternoon

So it wasn't a dog, it was you all along! Grin

We are all annoyed about dog poo

I would report repeat offenders or a particular problem.

I would not ring about one poo

I would ring about one poo and encourage everyone to do it until the council gets pissed off enough to act.

Our council is pretty good and has introduced tighter Dog Control Orders.

What I would like to see is a campaign that makes Dog owners who allow this social pariahs. I would like to see peer pressure, and a carte blanche for all people to shout reprimands at owners who do this until they are so scared of getting picked up on it that they stop. Make it uncool.

People who walk their dogs at night should be followed by a crack team of Dog Wardens with night visions goggles who scare the living Bejaysus out of offenders. And I'm only half joking.

Or maybe a DNA database of dogs (that is actually fictional due to expense no doubt) but scares dog owners so much that they get paranoid and take their poo home.
