Shit shit shit....Picked up wedding dress today and I think I've got it so wrong!

Oh god, I picked up my wedding dress today, it's costs a shed load and I think that I've got so wrong......, to late to change it now, I'm getting marired in 5 weeks, I just looked at it and thought why on earth didn't I go for somthing simplier...please tell me that I'm not the only one who's been in this position??? I can understand your jitters but it is such a marvellous dress I am sure all your guests (and DH) will be wowed.

Let me just say, i was in your very shoes just before i was due to marry. But I hated hated hated the dress, i was dreading the day i hated the dress that much. So i got another one coutured. I just couldn't let it spoil my wedding day.

It is possible, if you really wanted to, get a different one.

BUT mine really was awful. I must have been deranged when I chose it orginally. I think the problem ws i chose it too early. Probabloy about 8 months before the wedding. By the last few weeks I had gone right off it. So there is a little tip for anyone else. Don't choose too soon.

I also think it is beautiful (and I am not just being polite) - really stunning. There is something about it that is quite simple. Just remember that when we are feeling anxious we often concentrate all our angst on something that isn't really a problem. - I had huge jitters about changing my name for some strange reason!
