I want to buy this here

It's not much, c'mon. If every mumsnetter donates a fiver then I can have this shockingly huge mansion roof over my head which I so richly deserve.

All that glass and windows! Have you not seen the most recent thirteen ghosts OP?

FunnysInTheGarden · 15/02/2012 20:13

it's a tad pricey IMO. £7m quid would buy you a MUCH nicer house in Jersey. Just saying like

PamPerdbrat · 15/02/2012 20:14

ghosts?

PamPerdbrat · 15/02/2012 20:15

funny oh I know, just deciding with what I'm going to do when I win the EuroMillions on Friday.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 15/02/2012 20:16

Oh no need Pam, I ave it on good authority that I'll be winning...

LatteLady · 15/02/2012 20:19

Babies, the Grand Design house is in South Bank in Cornwall Street... this is a different house.

However, in order to save the OP from a nightmare life I will pass as I could not bear the thought of her having to clean all those windows on the inside... and the bills for external cleaning will be dear and she will be back on here, begging us to help her pack up to move again...

tabulahrasa · 15/02/2012 20:19

pfft, go further up north than up north and you can get 8 bedrooms for less than a million

PerryCombover · 15/02/2012 20:20

You poor thing. Putney is FULL of chaps from the Southern Hemisphere and bank staff...

GrahamTribe · 15/02/2012 20:20

Now the Kingston house, I like. I don't like Kingston though. It was fine 20 or 30 years ago but not now. Right house, wrong place.

shagmundfreud · 15/02/2012 20:21

melikey

ooer, think I've just come in my pants. Blush

LOOK AT THE GARDEN!!!!!!

DizzyCow63 · 15/02/2012 20:31

Was the one in the OP on Grand Designs? I love it but am scared to admit it

IamMummyhearmeROAR · 15/02/2012 20:34

Never mind ghosts - those windows will need a heckuva load of scrunched up newspapers and vinegar to get them sparkling

TwoStepsBack · 15/02/2012 20:37

Even if we bought you the house - you'll never be able to afford the curtains.

Doobydoo · 15/02/2012 20:43

Grin at 'decently blurred'

PamPerdbrat · 15/02/2012 20:46

Oh no twosteps I don't need curtains

galletti · 15/02/2012 20:50

Mmm, do like the inside, but tbh it reminds me far too much of the BB House!

Doodlez · 15/02/2012 20:53

It's totally overlooked and it's bloody ugly!

PamPerdbrat · 15/02/2012 20:54

doodlez it's ok. I'll live there and take one for the team Smile

joanofarchitrave · 15/02/2012 20:54

Hmm it does make me wonder about collectively buying a Mumsnet Holiday Home?

perhaps with a few flats for those moving on from a refuge, and with a nursing home wing for later in life?

Marilyn1980 · 15/02/2012 20:57

www.ckdgalbraith.co.uk/property/INV110120/Moy

this is what you'd get for a almost £2m near where I live

Marilyn1980 · 15/02/2012 20:59

damn it! £2m less facepalm

SpringingAllTheWay · 15/02/2012 20:59

Does anyone have any more details on the house? I have a strong suspicion it is owned by someone who can sometimes be seen frequenting the X-factor! :o

FoofFighter · 16/02/2012 07:50

How about this one? It's got an indoor swimming pool, gorgeous grounds, a snooker/billiard room - and a dungeon Grin

TroublesomeEx · 16/02/2012 07:53

It's vulgar and nasty. YABU!!

TroublesomeEx · 16/02/2012 07:54

OP's, not FoofFighter's, now that is lovely!!
