PamPerdbrat · 15/02/2012 19:42

I want to buy this here

It's not much, c'mon. If every mumsnetter donates a fiver then I can have this shockingly huge mansion roof over my head which I so richly deserve.

How come the header says 7 bedroom but the blurb says 6? They are lying to you! lying I say! I bet it's really a shed

DrowninginDuplo · 15/02/2012 19:44

Don't like it

UKSky · 15/02/2012 19:44

YANBU to ask..............but YABU to expect cash to be handed over Smile

Anniegetyourgun · 15/02/2012 19:44

YABU. It's a glass box ffs, and whatever they say about "exclusive estate" it's practically on top of a load of other houses. I will not contribute to something so plebian. Come up with a nice stately home and we're talkin'.

DodieSmith · 15/02/2012 19:44

Yikes! It's awfull!

shileofpite · 15/02/2012 19:45

I don't like it either. Soulless glass box.

flapperghasted · 15/02/2012 19:45

You could get that for less than a million where I live, oop north. And a recent survey said northerners are generally happier with their homes/communities, etc, than you southern types. So I'll keep me fiver in me pocket and me hsnd onme ha'penny, and tell you to get a grip and try some good old northern property porn instead!

PamPerdbrat · 15/02/2012 19:47

Ha! I'd love a soulless glass box Grin

C'mon, stop being tight.

OP posts:
ratspeaker · 15/02/2012 19:48

All those huge glass walls! Can hear DH muttering about light pollution now.
And totally impractical in case of zombie attack

DressDownFriday · 15/02/2012 19:49

If we all donated a fiver, I wonder how much you'd get. How many MNetters are there?

You're not getting anything from me. It's too close to payday - my purse contains an assortment of coppers and a hair slide.

BrianCoxHasScaryHair · 15/02/2012 19:50

ol' Northern Property

Hand over your money to me people, I have more taste than OP Wink

don't want to buy this, I just want lots of your MN pounds

GrahamTribe · 15/02/2012 19:50

No, sorry, right location, wrong style of house. All too exposed and cold for me.

MissSayuri · 15/02/2012 19:50

Is it in the middle of a council estate?

BrianCoxHasScaryHair · 15/02/2012 19:50

doh! Here

PamPerdbrat · 15/02/2012 19:51

But ratspeaker if you can afford a gajillion pound house; you can probably afford to keep a person whose soul job in life is to keep your windows spankin'.

OP posts:
KalSkirata · 15/02/2012 19:52

its hideous OP. Sorry

Alambil · 15/02/2012 19:52

that's hideous!

shileofpite · 15/02/2012 19:52

Yes, a zombie attack! Wiping all that snot and bits off that vast expanse of glass.

RatDesPaquerettes · 15/02/2012 19:52

I might be able to give you 50p. Post your account details and I will do the deed transfer. Wink

ArtVandelay · 15/02/2012 19:52

You'd spend all your time up a ladder with a bucket and rag trying to keep those windows clean.

And look how close the neighbours are, you wouldnt be able to get up to any hanky panky Wink

DrowninginDuplo · 15/02/2012 19:53

But (I think these things should be considered) what happens if you disrobe in one room and then need to get to the bedroom/bathroom. Think of how quick you'd have to run past all those windows before you are a decently blurred.

Nope definitely

PamPerdbrat · 15/02/2012 19:53

brian yes, the inside is lovely, but just look at the outside.

It's definitely haunted. You can just tell. Poultergeist central, I'm telling you.

So... Shall I hand over my bank details then, and you can all get a clickin and a transferin?

OP posts:
PamPerdbrat · 15/02/2012 19:54

Well, if none of you like it then thats all the more reason to donate. I'm really doing you all a great service by taking that eyesore off RightMove, lest you click on it and use up your eyeball power looking at it. So... Yeah. Always thinking.

OP posts:
ExitPursuedByaBear · 15/02/2012 19:54

Nope, sorry, don't like it at all.

BrianCoxHasScaryHair · 15/02/2012 19:55

well, it was at one time a Nursing home.....def haunting potential there. It is lovely though, was derelict for a few years (if it's the one I think it is, from driving past)

Anyhoo - I'll give you my paypal account details and you can all transfer OP's donations in there and I'll go mad on ebay
