AIBU to feel upset that a well known journo sent me a shirty tweet?

I follow someone who I find amusing and likeable but recently tweeted her for giving away the ending to a series on telly (watching on sky+).
We've exchanged many tweets over the years and I sent a low key grumble but got a nasty lob back.
Ffs- I've felt all snubbed all week. Am I daft?

I am following Miranda Hart but she has not said anything since Jan 27th. Is this normal twitter behaviour? Does Stephen Fry follow everyone? I followed him and he followed me back. I fear he may be rather disappointed in me. Still, he has taken my followers to 12, so hurrah for S Fry!

I loved My life on a plate
I loved How do you want me?
Comfort and joy sucked big cocks
Cannot forgive IK for that & refer you to the guardian digested read, digested Grin

Comfort and joy: Not if you're given it for Xmas

I have only ever read a half-dozen opinion pieces by IK. I would have graded them all about a "C". Such a shame that her sort of nonsense passes as journalism in London.

I would guess that after all the diet nonsense she is fat again.

margoandjerry · 12/02/2012 20:21

The piece of hers (IK) that I particularly objected to was her piece about obesity in which she took it upon herself to throw cold water on a study by geneticists showing that there is a genetic element to obesity. Because she has lost weight therefore the scientific study is meaningless and all the scientists involved are idiots. What they really need is an opinion-led column in a Sunday newspaper and a house decorated with lots of bright pink, fairy lights and no doubt those slogan style "art works" - then they'd really be in a good position to understand this complex issue and could probably sum it up in 140 characters on twitter.

margoandjerry--If MN had a like button, I'd like your last post.

But it doesn't.

So I guess... I don't?

Am shocked India Knight is so well liked. Her articles are so irritating.

SalmeMurrikAgain · 12/02/2012 23:36

I liked her book about shopping, and also her book about thrift, which was actually another book about shopping. Damn it, I've just read this whole thread in the hope of someone shedding some light on how she bagged Andrew O'Hagan.

noddyholder · 12/02/2012 23:50

I agree with merry legs she needs to stick to short sadly she doesn't have the talent for more than 140!

sarahcrowe · 21/03/2013 17:30

How odd - I have also been blocked by India Knight. She had tweeted a query with her new iPhone so I suggested she put the query into Google - I genuinely meant it as a way to solve her problem - and she then put Twitter is quicker and also Go Away.
I replied 'charming I was only trying to help' and she then put 'what alerting me to Google?' and then blocked me!
I've always been a big fan of hers - but it's left me quite shocked!
