...how do you not remember some things you've read them say so it doesn't influence you when you come across them again?

Not anything in particular, but when posters say 'well I never take any notice of which poster says what', what if you can't help but make the connection?

I agree spats and shit shouldn't be dragged across the boards, and that a poster who's seemingly being shitty one minute on a thread you can have a laugh with the next.

But sometimes it's hard not to let what you've read colour your view of a poster.

I'm not being unreasonable I've had gin or I wouldn't have posted would I? or ? Can't decide.

I notice names and definitely have a 'picture' in my head of many posters.

I don't have a shit list exactly but I definitely have a 'Crazy, do not engage' List.

You can't just forget what people have said.

'Morloth' - the name sticks, but unfortunately the picture it generates for me is a Morlock, which I doubt is what you had in mind.
