"Oooh that's not FUNNY"

"Oooh your username is RUBBISH"

"Oooh you SWORE"

"Oooooh you used capitals"

"Ooooh you used ... in a thread title"

"Oooh you have not posted in a way that I have deemed acceptable."

Who died and made you owner of the board? AIBU if from now on every time I see a self-appointed board police on patrol to link to and tell them to wind their necks in?

Look for the disembowelling one on AIBU, but it isn't very flattering for anyone involved. I did try to wave a white flag on there but they're all foaming at the mouth.

KatieMiddleton · 25/01/2012 18:44

Erm I don't understand. That is an awesome thread TwoIfBySea.

TwoIfBySea · 25/01/2012 18:50

You are kidding right?

Wow, well I guess I've outed myself as someone who thinks it isn't a particularly nice thread so let the insults begin. I've already been called stupid today so bring it on. The tone is OTT Katie, in the light of day I'd be embarrassed to having blurted out some of the bile on there.

I have had my hysterical moments on here and have been glad to have "mum" Mumsnet tell me off for it. Sometimes you need perspective and to accept people have opinions.

AnyFucker · 25/01/2012 18:53

disembowelling thread ?

notfluffyatall · 25/01/2012 18:53

I agree, tasteless doesn't quite cover it Confused

foglike · 25/01/2012 18:55

Heads for the biscuit tin and waits for coffee to percolate it's going to be a long hard bunfight this one.

TwoIfBySea · 25/01/2012 18:56

AnyFucker, apparently if you dare to think the cap on the benefits is a good idea then you want to disembowel anyone on benefits.

Yeah, that just about covers it.

There are veiled digs at everyone who thought it reasonable despite the fact, repeatedly, it was said that disability should not be capped.

sigh

Peachy · 25/01/2012 18:59

Have ytou read the disembowelment thread? It is a complete pisstake.

Funny that people on the pro-cap side see it that way, given I had to report a message received by CAT to MNHQ from an angry pro-cap supporter. Not quite so one way, is it?

Plus I ahve seen at least two disabled friends told they are probably making their disabilities / thos of their children / their education up.

nice!

Peachy · 25/01/2012 19:00

(Disembowlement thread is an evolution of the goats threads of yesteryear)

Peachy · 25/01/2012 19:01

(And if anyone actually holds the opiniosn of people being laughed at on said thread- such as everyone in a hweelcahir can really walk- then they should be ashamed of themselves!)

Extracting the urine. Possibly the the most utterly fucking annoying words I have read today. It's not funny, clever, new...it is just. Oh it's just oh.

KatieMiddleton · 25/01/2012 19:05

yes Maryz

Coraltoes I find it funny. You don;t; I shall read it, you can skip- where's the problem?

LeBOF · 25/01/2012 19:07

That thread is hilarious - or it would be if it wasn't so scarily close to how some people actually think. I think my favourite bit was Kate's "POOR PEOPLE- WE OWN YOU!"

coraltoes · 25/01/2012 19:10

Hey? I meant the saying "extracting the urine" which people keep writing on different threads. I can't help it if I am reading a thread and someone has written that...why so touchy?

OOps sorry- misunderstood what you meant! Blush

Pagwatch · 25/01/2012 19:11

Hen i told my mil that pagboy had been diagnosed with autism she said

"we don't have those things on our side of the family"

Grin
Peachy · 25/01/2012 19:11

I liked that too Maryz.

Honeydragon · 25/01/2012 19:11

You can be pro cap, I've heard plenty of reasonable arguments and amounts discussed on here for capping benefits - you don't need to go any where with a white flag.

The thread is a dig at people who are simply benefit bashing because they believe erroneous information reported by tabloids.

I'm sorry that those who are making reasonable arguments are now getting as much shit and vitriol thrown at them by unintelligent numpties as those sensibly arguing against.

I might be time to take Hullys guns away and go back to thwarting people on the nonce with the love batons?

Peachy · 25/01/2012 19:13

Pag MIL said that

Funny, because she ahs OCD, anorexia, only knows her paternal side and can't clai it's from FIL's as he is adopted.

Who needs facts eh?

(Actually firly sure it is BOTH sides of our family)
