"Oooh that's not FUNNY"

"Oooh your username is RUBBISH"

"Oooh you SWORE"

"Oooooh you used capitals"

"Ooooh you used ... in a thread title"

"Oooh you have not posted in a way that I have deemed acceptable."

Who died and made you owner of the board? AIBU if from now on every time I see a self-appointed board police on patrol to link to and tell them to wind their necks in?

I think she may have done a spreadsheet. Or at least a post-it of my crimes.

Thanks for the offer GFGW. Would I need to be held hostage? Only I don't like being tied up and I like to have access to the loo when I like.

aquashiv · 24/01/2012 22:53

You Are Def Not Being Unreasonable So There.
In the spirit of the OP. I know you should never explain irony but feck it.
Super Tits works too though, thank you.

Rational · 24/01/2012 22:53

Thanks for the advice Hully, I might Wink

AyeRobot · 24/01/2012 22:55

As I said - no reality, only perception. Rational, weren't you defending a man leaving chainsaws around young children? Or is my memory fuzzy? I'm not looking it up cos SM will get all colloquial on me.

It all depends on where you sit on a spectrum as to how you view the position of another, doesn't it? And where your "line in the sand" is drawn? I laugh every time I see a "I'm not one of the leave them brigade, but in this case..." Yes, you ARE in the leave them brigade - your line is just drawn in a different place.

Katie I'm sorry but i quit, LeQueen's job description has put me off :(

KatieMiddleton · 24/01/2012 22:57

See! This is why the country is in a mess. No commitment.

Rational · 24/01/2012 23:01

No, I didn't defend him, i just tried to be fair about it, the op in that thread wasnt being exactly.... rational if I recall but I can't remember specifics. I do remember lots of posters getting very carried away with making shit up that the op hadn't even said. I just try to deal with the facts.

Rational · 24/01/2012 23:03

Maryz beat me to it I see.

Honeydragon · 24/01/2012 23:09

LeQueen, be a dear and cease droning on....

See, there's the perception thing again, Maryz. It's not just that posters have different experiences (that wasn't a "non-rational" dig, was it?) but also that posters have different ideas about where responsibility lies. In this "we're all equal now" idyll that we are supposed to live in, anything other than 50/50 responsibility is seen by some as Just Not On. But actually, some scenarios do call for "This is Her/His/Their responsibility" and not have it heaped on someone who can't affect the outcome as much as the one who is doing whatever it is. Or for whom effecting an outcome lands them in disproportionately more shit than the status quo. And to not understand that, or even try to, is lazy, at best.

Anyway, still finding this thread hilarious, despite my seriousness up there.

AyeRobot · 24/01/2012 23:14

Oh, have I got all serious in the midst of hilarity.

NO NEED TO POINT IT OUT. I GET IT.

MischeviousMum · 24/01/2012 23:15

I have read about the first 100 posts of this and I have come to some conclusions.

  1. I don't know what OP means
  2. I wanna be friends with youuuu!

I braved the MN forums with a work problem the other day and got ripped apart by some evil wench, I deleted my app (I showed her!) but then came crawling back as I was bored and I enjoy reading the banter!

My two pence worth on the initial subject:

I Hate When People Type Like This It Honest To God Hurts My Brain And In My Head It Sounds Like An 80s Robot

Honeydragon · 24/01/2012 23:18

Stick around Michevious, give it 6 months and you'll be stalking LeQ with the best of us them Grin

KatieMiddleton · 24/01/2012 23:18

Work problem? It wasn't me was it?

I do love to post Like This every so often for emphasis.
