You know when someone says 'name changed but not a troll - missing toaster, poo troll etc'. It doesn't really prove anything, does it? Any lurkers could read all that and still be a troll of some sort, no?

Am bored, can you tell? Grin

What is it with these trolls and twins? Confused

BarryStar · 17/01/2012 16:26

I've got to go out now, don't reveal secrets without me Smile

FellatioNelsonsDog · 17/01/2012 16:26

Nancy Kominski! Getorf you are so much younger than me - you must have been watching all this stuff when you were still a zygote.

ShirleyForAllSeasons · 17/01/2012 16:27

If you were a carp troll Mardy, someone would immediately smell something fishy.

TheLightPassenger · 17/01/2012 16:27

Phoebe had a snake, IIRC?

Hahaha I have just googled Nancy Konminsky and died laughing in reminiscence. Grin

I was in infants school when Iwatched that, it was my favourite programme. Mind you I lived in the west country, we seemed to get TV shows a few years after everyone else, or just repeated ad infinitum.

Inevitably trolls worm their way in to people's affections. That's the point of them, it gives them a kick.
In the time I've been here there was the troll with twins (of course) who was fin retrospect easy to spot because of all the drama happening at speed of light and commented on continually. There was also the watersking mother of premature baby which was ludicrous. But there was another poster who I stopped responding to because I just didn't believe any of it and at the moment there is another like that. Maybe a novelist, maybe a former troll come back to try again? Who knows? Plus at least two others who I know posters think are trolls but I'm still ummming and ahhing over - maybe, maybe just a bit crap at life? Thing is you should never risk more than you can afford to lose. Time spent supporting a troll isn't necesarily time wasted. Sharing your personal experiences is a different kettle of fish though.

That Rockstock and Shirley are definitely trolls.

I have met them. They are green with little pointy horn things and large manky teeth.

Honestly.

What is it with these trolls and twins?

I suppose their logic is that while they are actually pregnant, tis only with a singleton. Invent a twin, carry on for a bit with attention and then, bam, miscarry/twin dies in utero etc etc, sympathy, people sucked in because it does happen etc etc.

I think this is one of the viler forms of trolling because inevitably those with absolute experience of such tragedy will come on to support and guide the troll, raking up their previous despair. Horrible horrible people that do this IMO.

TandB · 17/01/2012 16:34

Also how do you go about getting a sock-puppet?

I want one.

MardyBra · 17/01/2012 16:34

"carp troll" oops.

For cod's hake, let's not start on fish puns.

FellatioNelsonsDog · 17/01/2012 16:34

Right. Curiosity has got the better of me. wher can I find this possible novelist?

Northernlurker · 17/01/2012 16:35

Twin mums get lots of attention and have the possibility for problematic/dramatic pregnancies.

I agree LeQueen - nobody knows - but you can be pretty damn clear in your own mind nevertheless.

RockStockAndTwoOpenBottles · 17/01/2012 16:35

Kungfupannda is suffering quite severely from baby brain. Not much more than her usual state, granted, but she is more addled.... Grin

TheVermiciousKnid · 17/01/2012 16:35

Quite right, Mardi. This is not the plaice for fish puns.

TandB · 17/01/2012 16:36

I think I have come across the possible novelist - I can't remember her posting name but I remember an impossibly fluent story in the middle of alleged trauma and misery.

I think I am actually less addled than I was before - pregnancy does not suit me - I am definitely getting more sleep now!

I thought Scottishmummy was Beesimo's Grangran.
