DP came round tonight and set my DVD player up.
He set it up on the floor, and left it on the floor with wires trailing everywhere in a chaotic mess.
He is such a fuck wit. I cannot believe how useless and pathetic he is.
I think I should kick him out the door now, perhaps after smashing the DVD player over his pathetic head.

I have an idea. We could swap. Mine buys loads of tecchy crap and doesn't have the first idea what any of it is for, let alone how to set it up. He very kindly leaves them in boxes scattered around the house until I give up and set them up.

You can have him if you like. I'll send his nice big TV and various other gadgets with him. You can't have the x-box, though, that's mine. I'll part with the wii. Maybe.

OP i feel your pain. My DP (who doesn't live with me) does the same. If i buy something new but i want to leave it until i have the time to read the instructions and have a relaxing night, he wants to set it up straight away, he makes a mess and then i have to sort it out.
