...to be watching Graham Norton and thinking 'Madonna! What the fuck have you done to your face?! to your face

runningwilde · 13/01/2012 22:51

She looks terrible, her face has that bride of wilderstein/wind tunnel look

Aibu to want to shake her and ask her to think more 'Helen Mirren' and less Joan Rivers?!

Beautiful body but her face... Horrid.

Why do some women think this is a good look?!

Coming over well?! The woman is a master of manipulation and having a showbizzzz persona! You don't actually think how she is portraying herself is real?!

I admire the woman I really do but her face looks ridiculous. Fab body though and I don't mind the gloves apart from the stupid Chanel logo.

Those lines are def a ribbon face lift friend has had it it is the same. Great body

MayaAngelCool · 13/01/2012 23:19

Madge must be now Envy at the woman who can actually sing. Wink

MayaAngelCool · 13/01/2012 23:20

But RedBlanket, he can't even be his usual laid-back fluffy self. Did you notice how all the intro gags were takin the piss out of someone else, but never Madge? Serious control freakery. US sleb agents are the murderous sharks of the industry.

VivaLeBeaver · 13/01/2012 23:21

Bit bitchy to her own fans.

mousyMouse · 13/01/2012 23:22

is there such a thing as a hand lift?

mousyMouse · 13/01/2012 23:23

maybe the gloves are some sort of comoressin bandage...

missingmumxox · 13/01/2012 23:23

Me a DH decided to turn over, it is painful to watch, I thought she was only on to lunch her daughters career! ffs! husband pointed out album release, but truly painful to watch without her petrified face (as in stone rather than scared)

Bogeyface · 13/01/2012 23:25

Glad to see that I am not the only one who thinks that not only does Madge look farking stoopid, but that someone needs to tell Kylie to pack it in with the botox and the scalpel!

choux · 13/01/2012 23:28

Why Madge wears gloves...

RedBlanket · 13/01/2012 23:29

Think the DM are Saying she's wearin the gloves to Hide her old lady hands. I like her.

CointreauVersial · 13/01/2012 23:29

I was just saying to DH "Christ, she's had some work on that face..."

OK, I could only dream of looking like that at her age, but that plastic look.....no, no, no. The problem is, when you stop one set of muscles moving (let's say, for argument's sake, the forehead), then other bits of your face start wrinkling up instead. Hence the wrinkly-nose smile and strange lines.

VivaLeBeaver · 13/01/2012 23:31

I'm surprised she can't have collagen injections in her hands if she doesn't like them.

WhatsWrongWithYule · 13/01/2012 23:32

I'm a bit behind on this, so am just in the middle of Nadge's bit atm - but she does seem marginally more gracious than in the rare interviews I've seen with her before. I suppose age, motherhood and maybe the fact she's no longer all-conquering top-of-the-tree talent any more have something to do with tbat.
Oh, but now she's being a bit mean to the doll-makers (unlike Lady G who was genuinely touched and impressed).

choux · 13/01/2012 23:34

Keep watching WhatsWrong - she starts to get a bit catty later!

Bogeyface · 13/01/2012 23:35

What I dont get is if she wants to hide her hands, why wear such ugly gloves?! With an evening outfit then evening gloves would look far nicer and attract less attentio.....oh wait...I get it now!

WhatsWrongWithYule · 13/01/2012 23:38

Arf @ Nadge.

MayaAngelCool · 13/01/2012 23:38

The one thing I would say in her favour is that with newspapers like the DM training their microscopically precise cameras on her hands, I'm not surprised she wears gloves. How hypocritical of them to point out the 'problem' with her hands and then openly mock her for hiding it. Hmm

OriginalJamie · 13/01/2012 23:39

She was mean to the Italian doll makers.

And I think it's a great shame that "looking good" can only mean "looks 30"

ouryve · 13/01/2012 23:46

all that working out and she still has bingo wings. Makes me feel better about mine.

Bogeyface · 13/01/2012 23:47

I agree with you Maya but if she wore nice gloves that co-ordinated with the colour and style of that days outfit then it wouldnt attract quite so much attention. If she had made gloves her statement style then no one would think twice. As it is, she just looks like she forgot to take her gloves off after a powerlifting session!

ouryve · 13/01/2012 23:48

And hate to say it, but even with the work, she looks like a distorted version of 10 years older than I do.

She's about 10 years older than me.

Bogeyface · 13/01/2012 23:49

Thats thing ouryve. Surgery to that extent doesnt make you look younger, just the age you are but having had work done.

Joan Rivers looks like an old lady who has had work. Kylie doesnt look thirty something, she looks 40 something with lifts!

WhatsWrongWithYule · 13/01/2012 23:52

I do love her dress and her figure is amazing - don't understand the gloves either. I have horrible hands, always have, but I don't care what anyone thinks of them because I do things with them, that's what counts, they're not there to be admired fgs.

MayaAngelCool · 13/01/2012 23:55

That's true, Bogeyface.

God, I haven't called anyone 'bogeyface' for decades, I hope you don't think I was being rude! Wink
