It's hilarious.

That massive framed picture on top of the funeral car. The OTT speeches. Kim-Jong Un's hairdo.

It's like something off Monty Python.

Sweet fucking Jeezzus.

I cannot believe the frothing and beserking on this thread - about something that was never said by the OP.

Where have all the sane people gone???????

KittyFane · 29/12/2011 10:52

Oh bugger, I didn't realise OP was MN royalty. In that case:

OP, YANBU at all.

Oh the irony.

BaublesandCuntingCarolSingers · 29/12/2011 10:52

I've said it before but my OP was very transparent with no hint that I was laughing about the forced mourning/dictatorship. Some people like to have something to froth about. If there is nothing, they'll find something. It is the way of the foamer.

BaublesandCuntingCarolSingers · 29/12/2011 10:53

YES!!!

I have NEVER been called MN Royalty EVER. I am made. If only you knew how much this means to me...

OP posts:
KittyFane · 29/12/2011 10:55

Yes royalty is thought of very highly.

!!!!

BaublesandCuntingCarolSingers · 29/12/2011 10:56

Can you call me cliquey, please? I've got one more square to dab out on my bingo card...

OP posts:
KittyFane · 29/12/2011 11:00

Are you cliquey? I'll call you cliquey if you like OP.

Ahem...

Stop being cliquey OP.

BaublesandCuntingCarolSingers · 29/12/2011 11:03

I think you'll find that I have a full-house!

OP posts:
KittyFane · 29/12/2011 11:05

Well played!

catinboots · 29/12/2011 11:10

It is the way of the foamer

BaublesandCuntingCarolSingers · 29/12/2011 11:18

Oh ffs, I missed a square out.

No-one called me a bully.

Anyone...?

Anyone?

EnjoyResponsiblyIfSleighFlying · 29/12/2011 11:25

Entitled bully

HTH

GandTiceandaSprout · 29/12/2011 11:25

this isn't to bup, this is just a general reply.

I am fascinated by the regime. I have read books about it.

One thing that struck me about the funeral was the little girls in warm & brightly coloured western style coats. They're not allowed to wear colours. And certainly on NK wages, they wouldn't be able to afford coats like that.

They cry for the simple fear that if they don't show enough emotion, they'll get sent to prison camps.

What we saw was propaganda.

The people who live in Pyongyang are chosen to live there.

Enormous picture. Didn't do him any favours! Wink

BaublesandCuntingCarolSingers · 29/12/2011 11:30

"Enormous picture. Didn't do him any favours!"

He was clearly never acquainted with Touche Eclat.

To be honest, the cheap Aldi stuff is just as good!

The people are so afraid. When Dom Joly visited, every bit of the trip was accompanied. I don't agree with tourism to these places as it just gives money to the regimes. But I guess it's the only way to get a glimpse into the country.

Binfullofresolutionsonthe1st · 29/12/2011 13:03

The kid who went to school in Switzerland was Kim Jong Un, and it wasn't a super duper rich school it was just the International School of Berne. The super duper rich school in Switzerland is Le Rosey which costs about £70k to attend.

Needless to say when we visited to enrol our DS they didn't have it as a featured selling point in the brochure. Wink

GoingForGoalWeight · 29/12/2011 13:30

I 'get' what OP has said in her OP. I was laughing too! Be thankful we can do so!

Mumtobe140612 · 29/12/2011 13:44

I thought i was a bit weird finding it so funny, my partner looked at me like I had two heads for laughing so hard, so rediculous!!!!

Binfullofresolutionsonthe1st · 29/12/2011 14:08

What is funny is the quote from Mugabe - "'Kim Jong Il was a lovely man and a great friend'

I think they both convinced themselves a little to much in their own personality cult status.

Perehaps they were the only two "right" people in a sea of wrongs.....Shock

FellatioNelson · 29/12/2011 14:57

Hahaha - well they were certainly welcome to one another - it's a shame Kim didn't take his mate Bob with him.

Binfullofresolutionsonthe1st · 29/12/2011 15:04

~I did see a joke on FB as follows:

Osama Bin Laden, Gaddafi and now Kim Jong Ill.

I would be buying some lucky heather if I were you, Mugabe.

Don't think it was posted on "Bobs" FB page though!

HowlingBitch · 29/12/2011 16:01

And the new dudes barnet is breath taking.

How on earth is that not funny!?

nicknamenotinuse · 29/12/2011 16:05

my first ever Biscuit

FellatioNelson · 29/12/2011 16:10

This thread reminds me of an old friend, who said she'd moaned to an aquaintance that she was feeling 'bit fed up' with her life.

The aquaintance's response was 'What on earth do you have to be fed up about? You live in Weybridge. There are people in Bosnia in the middle of a war and ethnic cleansing. You are being shallow and you should feel ashamed.'

Confused
LadyBeagleEyes · 29/12/2011 16:18

Why is it not ok to ridicule both 'great leaders'?
Tragically it's something the people of NK can't do, it doesn't mean us in the West should follow suit.
Or are we censored too?
