A bashed up broken gift set of sugababes perfume. According to mil she smelt all the perfumes available and this was the nicest one.

Nicer than Chanel No 5 mil? Or Opium? Or anything by Lancôme or Givenchy or Clarins or Clinique? I'm not suspending my disbelief Xmas or not.

A truly hideous silk rose from MIL complete with glittered petals. I have never had to work so hard at looking pleased. Even dh who thinks his mother can do no wrong looked when I unwrapped it.
