Oh fgs. Spare a thought for the newbies HOW? By having less fun? By not making jokes and sharing humour with people who get the same NEW jokes? Is it actually practical to say that posters shouldn't post as themselves, in case it upsets people that we don't know?

Anyone can join in. I have yet to see a quiche not welcome newbies. New posters join in all the time.

Tbh it's that kind of attitude that is going to turn the high traffic areas into Nethuns Mark II and lots of actual in-joking and quiche chatting off board or in quiche threads to avoid it.

Now have a bath bun and get stuck in.
