To be scathing about the woman who spent 3months upside down

she stayed in a hospital bed with her legs in the air for 3 months so she didn't miscarry.
Is it just me who thinks the NHS have mugged her off with an old wives tale and there's not really anything you can do to prevent it if it's going to happen?
Xmas Hmm I dunno, but it just seems a mahoosive drain on resources.

OP you are being hugely U and you know it.

Have my first ever Biscuit .

blaaahh · 21/12/2011 14:00

YANVU - so you would rather she had another miscarriage than cost the nhs a relatively small amout....

gettingalifenow · 21/12/2011 14:00

Well done for fessing up, tho, Op. Brave to come back on.

Ok I have been unreasonable in my wording,

that is not a cross post - you read the replies and still didnt bother reading the article...

Some people are under the impression that "money donated to Tommy's is a waste, because there's nothing anyone can do". Actual quote.

elesbells · 21/12/2011 14:18

ok Op has fessed up that she was wrong.

No need to pick the bones out of it...

OP ask mnhq to pull the thread if you want it to go...brave of you to come back :)

AmandinePoulain · 21/12/2011 14:19

So if she hadn't had previous losses, you would stand by your original post? Hmm

See you've apologised, so not going to have a go. Just letting you know I had the same treatment 15 years ago. I'd had two boys, but had problems with the pregnancies due to a dodgy cervix. I had a number of miscarriages, and it was discovered that my body rejected girls. I then found I was pregnant with twins and they were girls. Cue very heavy bleeding at fourteen weeks. Hospital, bed rest, legs up for six weeks. Bored stupid. However, two girls at 33 weeks. It was worth every second.

ThePathanKhansWitch · 21/12/2011 14:24

I'm just so glad for her. Horrible wording OP.
