ooh a green light. here goes.

I ordered a food mixer from amazon, and have been waiting about 3 weeks for delivery. No sign of it, so I went online and found loads of feedback indicating that this marketplace trader had basically taken the money and run. No goods, no response to emails etc.

Despite this blatant rip-off, Amazon won't budge from their policy, so I have to wait 3 days to file a claim, and wait another 14 working days to get a refund.

Grrr.

You have to name the market trader. Naming Amazon isnt really enough, although their policies can be fustrating in cases like this.

I bloody hate all this market trader bollocks.
I go to Amazon.co.uk because I want to buy my goods from Amazon, not some fly-by-night Derek Trotter-alike who has moved on from a suitcase in Peckham market to the world wide web. Xmas Angry

The trader is Brandex, whose storefront is temporarily unavailable.

Amazon should have better vetting procedures before they let others sully their good name and send me my mixer immediately.

I love amazon but I have learnt to check the seller before buying.

I'm having other problems eBay sellers at the moment but at least paypal will lust refund me

My argument is that the policy is fine but where it is obviously a rip-off, they should make an exception.

And it will be too late to re-order in time for Christmas

Nursenic you have my sympathy. Only on woman out the entire science registry staff, had a clue about anything connected to post grads. If she wasn't there you left and came back another day.
