To hope that the evil woman who microwaved her friend's cat goes to prison?

On BBC news website if anyone cares to look. Basic story is that the friend reported the woman's boyfriend to the police for something or other so the woman microwaved the friend's kitten and text her friend saying it was karma. Words cannot express how disgusted and horrified I am that someone would subject an animal to such suffering and think it no big deal and I honestly think she shoud go to prison for a good old while as she is clearly a psychopath who is a danger to the oublic and her own toddler. AIBU?

Yanbu. I definitely have my priorities in the right place wrt the heirarchy of animals v. humans but what this individual did was calculated to cause the maximum harm to an absolutely defenceless and harmless sentient being. Same with the Porsche driver who tied a dog to his car. They both absolutely definitely deserve a major prison sentence as punishment for their abject cruelty and lack of compassion.

Cherriesarelovely · 23/11/2011 21:32

I just heard this too. Absolutely horrendous. Yes, without a doubt she ought to go to prison.

Agree with zukie, hope one of the other inmates pushes her down the fucking stairs and she ends up paraplegic, now that would be karma.

I saw that story and was horrified and extremely saddened. YANBU definitely

CuriousCrissyRock4QueenMama · 23/11/2011 22:03

Sad Evil woman words fail me Angry Yes I do hope something awful happens to her and she goes away for a long time.

Rollersara · 23/11/2011 22:05

A place where I used to work had a facility for testing mobile phone antennas. Basically it generated microwave radiation inside a space big enough to fit an adult. I wonder if they still have it...

HoneyandHaycorns · 23/11/2011 22:07

This is horrific. I cannot understand what could possibly motivate someone to behave so cruelly. Poor cat. :( It makes me feel sick just thinking about it.

YANBU

overeactor · 23/11/2011 22:08

YANBU. Hope someone gets her her fucking karma the bloody psycho bitch. Angry How the fucking fuck is that fucking karma?!

TheTamingOfTheShrew · 23/11/2011 22:14

Anyone know if you can get human sized microwaves? Sick bitch.

TeddyRuxpin · 23/11/2011 22:25

I hadn't heard about it before reading this thread.
The thing that makes me so angry about cases like this is that they never get much of a punishment. A fine/banned from keeping animals for X years/suspended sentence seems to be the usual punishment. Angry

JjingleBeanplusPudalltheway · 23/11/2011 22:26

Yanbu!

I'm disgusted!

MirandaGoshawk · 23/11/2011 22:30

YANBU. And I agree with you that she is undoubtedly a danger to her own child if she can do that to an animal. She was on the BBC local news earlier on today. Hid her face but was wearing a bright red duffle coat, silly cow.

mollschambers · 23/11/2011 22:33

What?? Jesus that is vile.

A custodial sentence is entirely appropriate I would have thought.

whysolate · 23/11/2011 22:33

What.the.fuck?!?!?!

That is absolutely barbaric!..........beyond barbaric!

Nancy66 · 23/11/2011 22:35

there seems to be a huge increase in cruelty towards animals....not sure if that's true or just the sensational reporting of it, but in recent months I've read dozens of stories about horrific treatment of animals

runningwilde · 23/11/2011 22:37

Good lord, the absolute monster. What is wrong with some people?! I really really hope she goes away for a long time but the justice system on these things is usually quite soft unfortunately isn't it?

I feel sick

There is also a news article about gangs stealing cats to throw to dogs on illegal dog sport.

What is wrong with these people :-(

Ariesgirl · 23/11/2011 22:39

I want to kill her. Seriously. This has made me weep with sadness and rage. I'm currently cuddling my own darling kitty.

Vile bitch.

MissMogwi · 23/11/2011 23:39

What an evil bitch. That's made me feel sick.

Let's hope karma finds her.

WorraLiberty · 23/11/2011 23:41

What a bitch that's fucking sick!

Get0rf · 23/11/2011 23:43

Good lord - what terrible person would do such a thing? That is awful in both its barbarity and sadism.

ThatVikRinA22 · 23/11/2011 23:46

i do hope the courts send a message with the sentence.

FontSnob · 23/11/2011 23:48

:(

dancingmustard · 23/11/2011 23:55

The thought of this churns my stomach.
But all she'll get is a suspended sentence and a stern look from a weak judge.
I'm hoping i'm wrong.
