To hope that the evil woman who microwaved her friend's cat goes to prison?

On BBC news website if anyone cares to look. Basic story is that the friend reported the woman's boyfriend to the police for something or other so the woman microwaved the friend's kitten and text her friend saying it was karma. Words cannot express how disgusted and horrified I am that someone would subject an animal to such suffering and think it no big deal and I honestly think she shoud go to prison for a good old while as she is clearly a psychopath who is a danger to the oublic and her own toddler. AIBU?

YANBU Angry Angry

Recently there has been far greater awareness in the veterinary and welfare circles of how animal abuse is a red flag for other violent or psychopathic behaviour, and hopefully a judge will act on this.

Someone who could do that to an animal has a complete lack of empathy and is not wired right. Here's hoping the courts realise this and give her the maximum penalty.

Oh God this has just made me cry :(

What a fucking sick bitch.

witherhills · 24/11/2011 00:16

I hope she goes to Hell actually

dancingmustard · 24/11/2011 00:18

Maybe

MrsTerryPratchett · 24/11/2011 00:23

I am actually quite shocked at the level of vitriol on this thread. It is utterly vile to have done what she did, there is no excuse and she should be jailed. However, wishing violence on her is also wrong. Someone should be paying close attention to her child (red flag) and she should be punished but wishing she had her face smashed in, that she is pushed down the stairs in prison or is herself microwaved... I don't think violence and torture inflicted on any person or animal is justified. She does and so do some of you.

Get0rf · 24/11/2011 00:53

I also don't want her to have her head kicked in, or be battered in prison.

But someone like that makes me shudder - i agree that people who are cruel to animals are not wired correctly. I am glad that this is being recognised more by the authorities.

I hope she is given a severe sentence.

runningwilde · 24/11/2011 06:29

Sorry mrsterry but it would not bother me at all of she had her face smashed in after what she did. That poor cat, all my feelings are for the cat not her.

Andrewofgg · 24/11/2011 07:30

All posters who think of a "long sentence": dream on. The most a magistrates court is allowed to give is 26 weeks, of which half will be served inside and half on licence.

My bet is she'll get a suspended sentence. Telling a convicted defendant that all the options are open including custody is sometimes called "a very good bowel-opener" - but I can't see them following through with immediate imprisonment.

Sorry if anyone finds this disappointing - but I speak whereof I know.

porcamiseria · 24/11/2011 08:32

you think this is bad, in the US there are quote a few women that fucking microwaved their babies. Its occured a few times. Fucked UP

TandB · 24/11/2011 08:41

I suspect you are probably right, Andrew.

But I can think of a couple of DJs who would impose an immediate custodial for something like this - pre-meditated and intended to impose maximum cruelty. If she finished up at City of Westminster mags, or Tower Bridge, to name but two, she would be sunk!

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 24/11/2011 09:48

Same mentality here... I've just signed it. What is wrong with some people? :(

StealthPenguin · 24/11/2011 09:49

Who the actual FUCK would microwave a baby?!?!

I think that causing unnecessary pain to anything that can't properly defend itself is the lowest of the low. Be it children, animals, vulnerable adults, OAPs...

Anyone who thinks microwaving someones cat is a suitable punishment for ANYTHING should be shown this and then asked if they'd bloody like it as well. Fucking cruel bitch.

muffinino82 · 24/11/2011 11:15

Agreed, Ariesgirl. Prison is the least of what I would like to do to her, vile, inhuman creature that she is. Gods help her if it was my cat; I am not exaggerating to say that I would try to kill her. I hope karma gives her what she deserves.

TeacupTempest · 24/11/2011 11:16

I feel sick! Fucking horrendous.

muffinino82 · 24/11/2011 11:18

I can see where mrsterry is coming from and I completely agree that SS should be watching her child like a hawk, however she has lost her right to fair treatment imo.

OrmIrian · 24/11/2011 11:28

mrsterrypratchett - you are quite right. It would be utterly dreadful if this woman suffers anything like the same sort of treatment as that poor animal.

However as I am unlikely to ever be in the position of being able to inflict such suffering on her (nor would I in reality) I can safely indulge in a bit of pointless and harmless nastiness directed at her!

WeLovePeas · 24/11/2011 11:33

You're not unreasonable, the twisted cow deserves a prison sentence. That's scary psychopathic behaviour.

OldGreyWassailTest · 24/11/2011 11:51

She'll get a slap on the wrist, I expect. Hopefully her wrist will break with the force of the blow.
