You could stretch a point to Advent Sunday (27 November).

And I do hope they'll all be keeping them right through to Twelfth Night.

tooearlymustdache · 14/11/2011 18:07

YANBU

MardyBra · 14/11/2011 18:07

Yes, Advent Sunday is acceptable if you must Edith.

I managed to change my name for the very first time for Hallowe'en. GhoulsGhouls, since you ask. I'm thinking maybe YulesYules for Xmas, or possibly a Scandi flavoured JulJul.

But not before 1st Dec, obvs.

And I don't do my tree until 18th December, no matter how much the dds sob and beg and say "Everyone else at school... " I'm tough, me.

AnyFucker · 14/11/2011 18:14

AIBU to think that anyone who doesn't know that strikeout doesn't work in thread titles is a bit thick sad Wink

MardyBra · 14/11/2011 18:15

MardyBra · 14/11/2011 18:16

AIBU to think that anyone who knows the quirks of MN that well spends too much time on here? Wink back.

muddysnowballs · 14/11/2011 18:16

So i'm staying, muddysnowballs.

So there.. stamps feet....folds arms... pokes tounge out .. Grin

MardyBra · 14/11/2011 18:18

Plain lazy, muddy. Will you be changing immediately after Christmas for Valentine's and then straight on to your Easter name? That way, you won't have to use your normal name for at least six months.

tooearlymustdache · 14/11/2011 18:18

oh dear, i can sense a lot of over-tired and over-excited MNers by the 25th of Dec [oh no smiley]

LineRunnerSaturnalia · 14/11/2011 18:21

Mine's a saturnalia name.

AnyFucker · 14/11/2011 18:24

touche, MB Grin

JingleAllTheSoddingWay · 14/11/2011 18:25

I changed mine straight from my Halloween one coz I can't think of a good "normal" name!

I'm hoping one will come to me before 1st Jan otherwise I'll have to change straight to an Easter name! Grin

MardyBra · 14/11/2011 18:28

Anyway, there's no point really. AF always has the best Xmas name. It's universally agreed.

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 14/11/2011 18:29

I shall be waiting until 1st Dec Smile

Jins · 14/11/2011 18:32

I've got mine ready but will probably forget to use it

NorfolkNChance · 14/11/2011 18:36

AF does have the best Christmas name.

The rest of us mere mortals have to contend with second best [wunk]

AnyFucker · 14/11/2011 18:37

I shall step aside this year

< magnanimous >

SuePurblybiltbyElves · 14/11/2011 18:44

Off to start a new thread: AIBU to think that everyone should do everything my way right now? Cos I say so? Am I?

AF - say it isn't so

AnyFucker · 14/11/2011 18:46

Sue, I shall still use the name, but not enter the annual "best xmas name" comp Grin

CotherMuckingFunt · 14/11/2011 18:48

I had a fucking brilliant Christmas all planned and ready but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. Vodka may have been involved
