The cat has taken over the bottom half of my bed....I can't take my mind off going back to work Monday and all the things Ive got to do and to top all that I've just been to the loo and my sons 12 yr old friend walked in in me......not embarrassing at all!!!!!
I just want to sleep......I love my sleep.
Anyone else awake???

I am awake but it's only 9pm where I am.

Would a warm bath help you sleep?

onwardandupwards · 29/10/2011 02:04

peggotty · 29/10/2011 02:12

Hello! I'm awake, been trying to get to sleep since 11pm. I'm starting a new job tomorrow and am petrified. I've just got up and had a horlicks and made a list of all my fears and the possible solutions to them so I'd bloody better be able to get to sleep now Grin

HappyHippyChick · 29/10/2011 02:14

I am awake too, staying with MIL and have serious pregnancy-related heartburn. I need to manoeuvre past sleeping kids and squeeze through v small gaps between door and furniture to get to any indigestion relief so I am just hoping it goes away!

onwardandupwards · 29/10/2011 02:15

good luck with the new job peggotty and hope your dog feels better soon Goldenbrown.

HappyHippyChick · 29/10/2011 02:16

Ooh good luck peggotty you'll be fine, so don't worry!

Goldenbrown1981 · 29/10/2011 02:17

Ooooh, Good luck Peggotty.

My own fault with the dog I think, she was swimming in the sea today and I think it might be a sea water thing. she's been asleep 20 mins. Giving it 10 more then attempting bed again (which will mean waking DH up, I can hear him snoring from here!)

Dee03 · 29/10/2011 02:18

Well at least I'm not alone is being awake still.....im just not tired now and there's nothing decent on the tv to watch Sad

Dee03 · 29/10/2011 02:21

I'm awake, annoyingly. Can't sleep, 36+3 and having real tightenings but nothing regular and have convinced myself it's my body playing tricks because it knows how desperate I am to just have this baby now!!!

Papyrus · 29/10/2011 02:22

What's the new job peggotty?

I'm up with decidedly wide awake DD3.

Goldenbrown1981 · 29/10/2011 02:23

Thank god for Sky plus, that's all I can say. I'm watching QI

onwardandupwards · 29/10/2011 02:24

Dee03 · 29/10/2011 02:25

I've only got the bog standard 4 Channel tv in my bedroom and even bbc2 doesn't work!!! I always fall asleep with the tv on and I just know if a decent programme comes on I'll fall asleep

Job is home care worker. I've been an SAHM for 7 years so this is huge change. It's just fear of the unknown. I've already been whinging about it on another thread so won't start again Blush.

Goldenbrown1981 · 29/10/2011 02:26

I'm so tired, but I can't sleep when my baby is poorly. Dread to think what I'll be like when it's a human baby!

ToxicMoxie · 29/10/2011 02:27

It's only 7 pm here, if anyone needs conversation. DH is at a bar watching the Baseball championship game with buddies.
