Just need to have a moan...it's 1.56am and I've been in bed since 11.36 and I cannot sleep!!!!!!!
The cat has taken over the bottom half of my bed....I can't take my mind off going back to work Monday and all the things Ive got to do and to top all that I've just been to the loo and my sons 12 yr old friend walked in in me......not embarrassing at all!!!!!
I just want to sleep......I love my sleep.
Anyone else awake???

sat here waiting for ds4 to decide to go back to sleep - he woke up when i put him down after an unexpected (by me) feed at midnight a and is currently trying to get me to read to him. Could really do with some sleep - ds3 was poorly last night so needed checking regularly.

HappyHippyChick · 29/10/2011 02:30

Ok, I think she might be feeling better. She's giving me "IS it bedtime?" signals so I'm going to attempt bed. If I'm back in 30 mins I'll be annoyed. Night folks

ToxicMoxie · 29/10/2011 02:34

I'm in New Mexico. Eating a bean burrito!

Dee03 · 29/10/2011 02:37

Night goldenbrown.

New Mexico...lovely! Maybe If I actually went to sleep I could dream that I was somewhere nice and exotic..and not in cold and rainy Britain lol Smile

I was just going to ask that, am thinking about doing the ironing. hows the heart burn HappyHippyChick?

MrsStephenFry · 29/10/2011 02:39

could be worse. You could be writing an essay due in the morning that you should have done a week ago. Blush

HappyHippyChick · 29/10/2011 02:46

Still going strong! My least fav pregnancy symptom...

I feel your pain MrsStephenFry I finished my OU degree this year and I have been in that situation many times! Good luck!

ToxicMoxie · 29/10/2011 02:59

Yuck on the essays, been there, done that. You have my sympathies.

Dee 03, I don't know if it's exotic here, it's dusty but not too hot. But it's not raining. The starts are out, and when it's cold like it is now, they are blazing bright! It's a new moon tonight, so I can see the milky way. And satellites.

HappyHippyChick, does anything help the heartburn?

StellaAndFries · 29/10/2011 03:02

I'm awake because I'm drunk and just got in from the village Halloween disco.

onwardandupwards · 29/10/2011 03:09

did you have a good night StellaAndFries?

CheshireDing · 29/10/2011 03:39

I'm awake with a 3 week old, really hoping she is full up soon Grin

harassedandherbug · 29/10/2011 03:45

I'm awake too.....

32wks preg and have spd and braxton hicks.

Hippychick love heart sweets are very good for heartburn. I use them to top up my gaviscon, plus they're handy to have by your bed.

GarrottingItLaldy · 29/10/2011 03:51

I'm awake...pregnancy insomnia! I'm only 6 weeks FFS and it's been going on since I found out 2 weeks ago (this is my first baby). I go to sleep just fine but come 2am-3am, I'm wide awake and it takes hours to drop off again. I'm constantly knackered. On the bright side, I've nod had any sickness yet...but right now I'd happily trade insomnia for a bit of nausea.

ParsleyTheLioness · 29/10/2011 03:52

Been awake since 2...God yes.

harassedandherbug · 29/10/2011 04:05

Garrotting this is my 4th and insomnia is my first symptom! It does get better...... and then comes back. Obviously.

Shoshe · 29/10/2011 04:06

Awake cos, I have a cold and my chest is tight, have a million and one things going on in my head as we are moving on Tuesday, and DH is snoring, loudly [hangry]

I got up again before I kicked him.

GarrottingItLaldy · 29/10/2011 04:20

harrassed, for now I will cling to the hope that it gets better and worry about the 'worse again' bit when the time comes.

All my life my one special talent has been the ability to sleep anytime, anywhere. So this is killing me!

GarrottingItLaldy · 29/10/2011 04:24

Oh, and I don't know whether to be in awe that this is your 4th or recommend psychiatric help for willingly putting yourself through this repeatedly! Grin

harassedandherbug · 29/10/2011 04:33

Shoshe that sounds nasty, have you taken anything?

Garrotting psychiatric I think!

bananarama05 · 29/10/2011 05:14

Nice to know I'm not the only one up at this godawful hour!

Our bloody antisocial neighbours half way down our street were being so noisy they woke our dog up at 4.15.

Which in turn woke up dd (5 months), 4th night in a row she's woken up at this time. She's been changed, fed and is currently playing her favourite trick of rolling onto her front, getting stuck and screaming to be turned over. I've now been in 5 times to turn her back over, and if the last few days are anything to go by I've got about another hour to go before she gives up, the novelty is wearing very thin I can tell you!

Seriously contemplating missing the x factor and dinner tomorrow night and just going to bed when she does at 6.30!!

bananarama05 · 29/10/2011 05:16

Ah just noticed it went all quiet 45mins ago here Blush

Ah well least writing that lot out on my phone kept me quiet for 5 mins!
