It makes my teeth bleed.

DawnOfTheDeementedDead · 28/10/2011 15:25

Ah well, what a pity, never mind, eh?

ThisIsANickname · 28/10/2011 15:26

Really?

If you don't like it, don't use it. Simples.

AgentZigzag · 28/10/2011 15:27

Awww Sad how are managing to cope Nigel?

PosiesOfPoison · 28/10/2011 15:27

Right, if this is referring to one poster on here then you should really just shhhhh. She has a perfectly valid and really quite sweet reason for using it.

Shutupanddrive · 28/10/2011 15:27

Teeth bleed? Never heard that expression before! Well it is Halloween I suppose! This has been done to death by the way. Hope you have your hard hat ready Grin

worraliberty · 28/10/2011 15:27

YABU I loathe it too but apparently it's not ok to say this on here.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 28/10/2011 15:28

Oh well.

Never mind.

next!

DownbytheRiverside · 28/10/2011 15:28

I see more threads whinging about this than I've seen threads by Dee. Confused
There are lots of words and acronyms I loathe, but I suffer stoically. Manshape is not one of them.
I suggest you do the same OP.

TheScaryJessie · 28/10/2011 15:29

Oh god, not again.

effedorf · 28/10/2011 15:29

Yanbu but yabu to start a thread about it.

DownbytheRiverside · 28/10/2011 15:29

Bleeding teeth?
Poor dental hygiene usually. You should floss more.

And go to the dentist. It's your gums, not your teeth, and it could be gingivitis.

fluffythevampirestabber · 28/10/2011 15:29

The poster on here who uses the phrase has explained on a number of occasions why she uses it. In her case it's valid and reasonable and I don't have a problem with it.

Other posters are jumping/have jumped on the bandwagon and that does irritate me.

But I wouldn't say I loathe it.

So on balance, I don't know if YABU or YANBU - depends on the context Wink

Iheardaploof · 28/10/2011 15:30

Plooooooooooof

DownbytheRiverside · 28/10/2011 15:31

I like the other phrase Dee uses...
' I love the very bones of him'

Appeals to the poet in me.

fluffythevampirestabber · 28/10/2011 15:31

FFS Chaos even beat me to the cross posts

ThisIsANickname · 28/10/2011 15:32

My husband refers to me as KitchenAid sometimes.

ImperialBlether · 28/10/2011 15:33

Really horrible term, but I got shouted at last time I said that.

fuzzynavel · 28/10/2011 15:33

Ay?

I don't know what it means either, but don't think I'd be too bothered by it.

Yep op, get yourself off to that dentist asap Grin or you won't have one of these for long.

TheScaryJessie · 28/10/2011 15:34

I'll call my husband something really sickening, and refer to him frequently on here. Maybe that would force people to gain a sense of perspective.

FluffyCuddlyPomPomBear, maybe?
