I do wish you wouldn't say more

This subject has been done to death!

Hassled · 20/10/2011 16:08

Your difficulty here is that cats haven't really mastered rational thought.

They do, however, understand water pistols. Get one, use it.

gushofbloodtothefloor · 20/10/2011 16:08

You do realise the cat owns the neighbour rather than the other way around?

TechnoViking · 20/10/2011 16:08

Can't you provide a quiet corner and a daily paper for it to read, while it does its business?

usualsuspect · 20/10/2011 16:09

oh great ,the weekly cat shit thread

IggyPup · 20/10/2011 16:10

I have talked to my cats about this as I think I might be your neighbour.

They laughed and told me to feck off.

YABU

cats dont shit in their own gardens FACT.

get a dog.

GreenPenguin · 20/10/2011 16:15

it deserves to be done weekly. It's a real shit if it's your garden!

OP posts:
slightlymad72 · 20/10/2011 16:15

Why don't you shit in theirs? Don't be surprised though if they start throwing it back over the fence Grin

CoralRose · 20/10/2011 16:22

Our cat does this. Usually whilst we are in the garden chatting to the neighbours who own the garden of choice for Mr Puss. Highly embarrassing, but nothing we can do about it. YABU.

chill1243 · 20/10/2011 16:25

I did see a clip on TV where someone had toilet trained a cat. But it may have been a piss take

Get a cat.

Then at least one of you will be nice. Wink

exoticfruits · 20/10/2011 16:30

Unfortunately cats are very independent and follow their own rules!

CalmaLlamaDown · 20/10/2011 16:34

usualsuspect · 20/10/2011 16:39

Because I'm bored Grin

Whatmeworry · 20/10/2011 16:39

I wonder if there is a business for selling cat outhouses?

viewfromawindow · 20/10/2011 16:39

Actually cats DO use their own garden!!! I have 3 cats and have deliberately created a toilet area for them with soft earth, sand and a bit of privacy in a corner behind a large bush. Works like a dream. I have also given my neighbours large water pistols just in ace and they have only had to use them a few time. Cats aren't stupid...they got the very unsubtle hint!

topknob · 20/10/2011 16:41

I have two cats and have advised my neighbours that if the cats bother them to use a water pistol ... they said it was ok, but I did reply it wouldn't be a problem !

stepawayfromtheecclescakes · 20/10/2011 16:52

what some regulars seem to forget is that it may have been done to death for you but a newbie has not seen all the others and wants up to date opinions, just move on to something that hasn't yet been done (if you can find anything) and leave them to it, you were all new once! Smile

PigletJohn · 20/10/2011 16:52

get your own cat and the problem will stop. Or befriend your neighbour's cat so he looks on your garden as his home.

This really does work.

stepawayfromtheecclescakes · 20/10/2011 16:55

pigletjohn does this mean feeding them?
