That bigger cup size should have more variety and be more flatttering??

I agree with strandedbear! Have you ever tried finding a B cup in Primark - very difficult and all the giant padded bras are a bit intimidating!

Orbinator · 05/10/2011 19:14

I'm breatfeeding and perpetually amazed at the lack of choice considering most women end up C Cup plus. I'm FF at the moment and would actually like to enjoy my giant cleavage while I have it without spending £35+.

Kayano · 05/10/2011 19:15

I have gone from a G to a H since getting pregnant, it's a nightmare

IMO there are getting more bigger cup sizes but they do not cater for small back and big cup. I'm a 32 H or HH ATM I think? It's killing me ! Angry

Primark bigger bust sizes only start at 34 or 36 back Sad

ZillionChocolate · 05/10/2011 19:20

When I was E-G cup, it was fairly difficult to find bras, especially inexpensive ones. Now that I'm bigger, I see lots of bras up to G cup, eg in Tesco Asda and New Look but not much above.

I think you have to accept that bigger bras need a structure, whereas smaller ones can be purely decorative.

eatyourveg · 05/10/2011 19:20

bravissimo is the place to go. They go from 28-40 backs and D-K cups. See here

It's the engineering involved in a bigger bra - just to provide the support for the mass and volume of breast tissue means they need certain features and can only be made in a certain number of ways otherwise they just won't work. There is more choice now than there was even a few years ago, more colours and prettier trimmings and such so that the same basic designs can look different and nicer. It used to be white, white, white, or a Triumph Doreen which are VERY small fitting and that was it over a G or H cup. At least now there is choice even if they do cost a lot Confused

paranoidandroidwreckmyownlife · 05/10/2011 19:30

Bravissimo or LaSenza gets my vote from my 34G's. Loads of pretty styles, LaSenza cheaper though.

Lemonsole · 05/10/2011 19:41

Bravissimo all the way. M & S have larger sizes, but they have no support. Suspect Primark would be the same. Bravissimo, IMHO, stock beautifully engineered pieces. Yes, they may be a few quid more - but you won't get that sinking feeling.

larakitten · 05/10/2011 19:53

I get that sinking feeling every time I go shopping for a bra. Yes, lots of places do up to a G up.....but not with a 30 back. All the places that seem to stock bras for the larger norked seem to start the back sizes at a 32 la senza Im looking at you

So its off to Bravissimo where I come home with the same nude bra again..........

Smellslikecatpee · 05/10/2011 20:15

Try having big cup size and a very broad back. . no hope!

NorfolkNChance · 05/10/2011 20:26

Try having an L cup and a 32 back, I am still in feeding bras mostly!

GwendolineMaryLacey · 05/10/2011 20:29

This drives me up the bloody wall. I hate underwired bras and am a 38G when not pg, even bigger now. Because I hate underwired there's basically one bra I can buy, the M&S total support. Fine, no problem, it's a good solid bra that keeps them where I like them. For years they were black or white and dull, then a couple of years ago they went mad and made them in different colours and all lacey. I was delighted. This season back to black and fucking white. All the nice colours etc are only up to E cup. I'm so annoyed that I can't even go into M&S anymore, I'll kill one of their staff. It's so bloody unfair. Angry

MotherOfHobbit · 05/10/2011 20:34

Oh I agree. I'm a G and most big bras are just plain ugly. Bravissimo's probably the best though.

ZillionChocolate · 05/10/2011 20:35

I'm really disappointed with M&S. I wonder whether not enough of us bought their big bras. Online there are 5 bras in my size but 3 are maternity. Bravissimo all the way.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 05/10/2011 20:49

I've just looked at Bravissimo and they're no better. 5 soft cup bras, all of them foul colours, balcony things or sports bra wannabes.

eatyourveg · 05/10/2011 20:52

GwendolineMaryLacey bravissimo have a pink non underwire in your size, its lacy too

eatyourveg · 05/10/2011 20:53

woops! didn't notice your post

RedBlanket · 05/10/2011 20:56

Norfolk - 32L wow! I didn't even know they went up to L. I'm 'only' 32G

Bravissimo is by far and away the best, though I have got a nice one from Fantasie from figleaves.

NorfolkNChance · 05/10/2011 20:58

Bravissimo have only just started to do an L, in a granny bra kind of way!

You need to try Freya or fantasies bras which are very pretty. They go from a 28d up to a 40jj. They are pricey at approx £30 per bra but you can get last season's colours cheaper.

Panache are not so pretty but they go up to a kk cup size now.

I might not have some listed in my eBay shop at half retail price Wink . You might not find said shop by googling my mumsnet I'd and clicking on the eBay linkWink

Minstrelsaremarvellous · 05/10/2011 21:00

I find that Figleaves has a broader range than Bravissimo............
