...to want to tie this person up in a plastic bag and shove them in a bin?

Because that's what they did to the kitten my friend found in the bottom of her bin yesterday. Angry

They hadn't just dumped it, they actually pushed it right down to the bottom, and covered it with the rubbish - she would probably never have found it if her neighbour's dog hadn't gone nuts, barking and scrabbling at the bin.

Luckily she has been able to find it a good home with one of her family, but I hate to think what would have happened on bin day if the neighbour's dog hadn't been passing by.

Bloody hell... :(Angry

Hoping that karma rains down on the moron who did that. Why would anybody do that?

mistressploppy · 12/09/2011 13:08

Oh no, that is so Sad

I can't believe anyone would do that. Why, why, why?

TopazMortmain · 12/09/2011 13:08

Sad I have two kittens that were thrown away in a plastic bag and which were rescued. Who does that to living things? WHO?

mumto2andnomore · 12/09/2011 13:09

Thats terrible, so pleased she found it in time though.

Chocobo · 12/09/2011 13:10

YANBU - I don't understand why people do this. If you do not want an animal take it to a local animal shelter - it is not difficult. Angry

Ilikepinkwine · 12/09/2011 13:21

Our pets are all inherited from people who didn't want them. Someone does!

GlitterySkulls · 12/09/2011 13:22

Beyond belief :( I cannot understand how someone could do this. Cannot think of a tortous slow punishement thats not too good for them

HowAboutAHotCupOfShutTheHellUp · 12/09/2011 13:40

Utter scum. What goes around comes around, however.

KeepInMind · 12/09/2011 13:55

Sad some people are vile.

Thank goodness for your sister

kslatts · 12/09/2011 13:56

Thats really terrible, glad to hear the kitten was found in time.

Some people are scum.

moanymandy · 12/09/2011 13:57

This is awful! Angry they couldn't have even tried to find it a home as previously pointed out someone is ALWAYS willing to take them in, especially kittens! So much so when I was looking at getting one a few years back a lady had one left from her litter that I was going to have and someone was obviously that desperate for one as it got stolen from her out house!!

naturalbaby · 12/09/2011 13:59

people do so much worse. i cringe every time i see a tied up bag on the side of the road/pavement wondering what's really inside after reading stories like these.

ColdSancerre · 12/09/2011 14:08

Oh that's awful :(

MissTapestry · 12/09/2011 14:22

:( what is wrong with people?

BunnyWunny · 12/09/2011 14:42

I can't even bear to think about the cruelty that goes on to innocent animals. I once read a story about some local boys that cut off a cats ears and threw it on a bonfire! Shocking!

Fecklessdizzy · 12/09/2011 16:08

What utter, utter tossers. With any luck they'll come back as something small, squeaky and edible.

takethisonehereforastart · 12/09/2011 18:13

That's terrible, I'm so glad it was found safely.

DogsBestFriend · 12/09/2011 18:16

Wicked bastards. I wish them nothing but an early, slow and painful death - and I'd gladly ensure it with my bare hands.

SnapesMistress · 12/09/2011 18:24

Wicked wicked people. Everytime I hear about animal cruelty I imagine someone abusing my cat in such a manner and feel physically sick.

HedleyLamarr · 12/09/2011 18:32

ZukieCat "The cat I had a few years ago I rescued because the new wife of the man I got him from just didn't want him. I really felt for that guy, he obviosly adored his cat, he left the cat with me for a night to see how he got on , came back the next day to check and the tears were streaming down his face when he had to go."

If it was a case of "it's me or the cat" the cat would win.
