AIBU?

STAND UP AND BE COUNTED AND STOP THE ATTACKS ON SN PARENTS

ok NOT an aibu, but this is where it will be seen the most and it NEEDS awareness.

quite frankly, i along with others am appalled at the comments that are being made and left to stand, toward the SN community, they are downright offensive and quite simply appalling.

i am sure (or hope) that the majority on here do NOT agree with them but yet the SN community on mn are not being supported, whether this is because people do not know what to say, or they havent seen these posts i do not know?

BUT IT IS ABOUT TIME THAT THINGS CHANGED, so this a thread where you can stand up and be counted and say that you do not agree with the disregard, blatant trolling and offensive behaviour towards our lovely mn who have or are dealing with sn in their family.

they need this place for support, not the vile behaviour that they are getting.

so please post here and show your support and help make a change for the better.

all it takes is a smile next to your name to show you agree :)

So, any news as to what these changes to the Talk Guidelines are going to be? Or did I miss it? Blush

I don't think t'other thread has derailed all your work as such - I hope not. I think it's just an amalgamation of people's opinions, and hopefully at the very least a compromise will be reached.

I hope this thread's not been derailed. I think that MNHQ should post on every board when they announce the new and improved Talk Guidelines. Or e-mail all members?

It has to be for all to see and all to have there chance to comment on them.

That won't be a walk in the park............

Its ok to stand up for sn but that means that thing that will affect your child could be with anther child with sn. for exsample parent shouting at teacher beacause your 6 child has pulled their child hair with compleat lack of understaning. so my child has support all the time thought their stament in their main stream school, which I had to fight for beacuse their behavore is a problem not their edcational skills. their behavoir can be blamed on sn but is it fair what on offer is a poor choice of schools when a little understanding would go a long way and not to think someone cannnot achive as they are differnt and persumme a list of thing the children with speacial needs {for exsample not make frends} cannot do

last time I will bother to post on this thread.
seems to have dies a death as usual, what a shame that mn hq don't deem it a serious enough subject to actually deal with.

yet they can go to bat over a soap plot line, but not their own back yard.
all is quiet as far as I know at the moment, but it will happen again it always does, and we will loose more good posters.
