To think that government statistics are a load of bollocks

Tried to write this 3 times and got bombed out so very short version now.

DP is a firefighter.

They (the government) are trying to close stations etc according to their statistics.

Apparently, fire deaths are statistically at the minimum.

This is what really goes on.

If the person doesnt die on scene its not a fire death.

As in, if the person dies on the way to hospital - its not "counted" as a fire death.

If the person dies of smoke inhalation, burns etc. in hospital, guess what, its
not counted as a fire death.

Well blimey,that would lower the statistics now wouldnt it!

End of factual rant now.

Off to have last swig of gin (deep sigh) but have a lovely dark chocolate truffle calling me from fridge. Sod slimming world!

I was, and still am gobsmacked by it though. Whats next already happening we dont need any more bloody police on the streets. Ummmm. I hope but not really that the flipping olympics is a daed mn disaster. Who wanted it in the first place.

I dont really listen any more... Oh, stay abreast of current situations. Its all propaganda, all of it! very very awful. Im nearly 50 and am so sad by what is going on. Ok, Ive never seen myself as being a racist. We are totally bombarded now. Our beautiful England is no more. Blimey, need another truffle but will resist.

Yes, but the government also know this so they push them to such a degree that they want them to fall... for instance the last strike was held over the bomfire period. Firefighters had to stand down. what the public didnt know was they were all still near the station ready to go. they would never put the public in danger, its a vocation.

Your roach is most probably smouldering down the side of your highly flammable sofa, spiders.

If my guess is correct, I do hope you'll have the decency to expire while sitting on said sofa so that the stats for fire deaths will go through the roof and no fireman will be harmed by redundancy. Grin

Strike date was made by union but they knew that average bloke on the watch would never carry it out.
