AIBU to feel sorry for the people who spend half their lives on mumsnet?

I lurk a bit at work ( prenteding to be busy, saves me making the tea ) and have started the odd thread here and there seeking advice, BuT my god I feel sorry for the posters who are on here day in day out for hours.
I know some people are socially isolated and I'm sure they get a lot from mumsnet, but it is rather sad when it becomes your main source of adult interaction, and by choice for many I imagin. I know mumsnet has one million members, but it's always the same names coming up in active conversations. These forums should be a place where you drop into now and then, not somewhere you rely on for friendship.

I have been on here loaaads today Grin and totally neglect my dd. Sill managed to go off to the doctors for an hour, walk the dog and do some work. All in between school runs.

It may have something to do with dd feeling peaky and wanting cuddles book and cbeebies. When its cbeebies I have mnetted. She didn't want my undivided attention she wanted Colin the Runner bean.

FFs Sue you're not supposed to luff Colin like I do or have an option we are neglecting our children, we KNOW nothing of Cbeebies, it is our babysitter only but yes Mr Bloom is a pervy weasel and pays too much attention to that turnip

DD has gone orf cbeebies, she is at the stage of putting dvds on and taking them out again repeatedly. so she does that & I mn. Is that wrong?

I don't neglect DD watching Mr Bloom, she won't watch it now. She watches Deadly 60 with me and I perve. She is also partial to a DVD now and again. S'alright though cos she's a genius.
