You are not old enough to get married if you want to wear one of these

AWimbaWay - pah, that's not getting married in brown. That's a beautiful dress (though I'm glad you clarified about the length, it was troubling me too). I got married in a pair of old brown cords. Now that's getting married in brown Grin.

mistressploppy · 11/09/2011 18:39

at AWimbaWay and allhailtheaubergine having a 'brown-off' Grin

TooImmature2BDumbledore · 11/09/2011 18:39

Oooh, I love the Snow White one! I also really like those sleeved wedding dresses someone linked to, but it is too late. I already got married in a strapless princessy Ian Stuart

I love this dress Blush

"Today, this famous fairy tale comes alive with a classic ballgown of tulle and glitter net over taffeta, inspired by Cinderella's glass slipper."

AWimbaWay · 12/09/2011 07:26

Cord out-browns silk any day, so sadly I concede defeat.

I love looking at wedding dresses, this site has some stunning ones.

Morloth · 12/09/2011 10:10

I wish they had been around when I was getting married.

I like the Tiana one and the Jasmine one.

I viewed my wedding as a day of dress ups, was fantastic, I quite enjoy Disney as well. As I don't have any little girls of my own I rather enjoy the rich aunt experience of taking a little girl to the Disney store and buying her whichever frivilous princess crap that she wants.

We used to go to gaming cons in our yoof. I veered wildly between extreme goth with lots of black leather and pink princess.

Nothing wrong with being a bit girly, the problem isn't with girls wanting to play princesses, the problem is that society views that as girly and therefore lesser.

Peachy · 12/09/2011 10:14

now that is gorgeous

Peachy · 12/09/2011 10:15

designers, claire p, first frock

Morloth · 12/09/2011 10:17

My wedding dress was like this, only in ivory and gold.

The corsets were so tight I couldn't breathe properly. But fuck me, I looked good.

Sookeh · 12/09/2011 10:18

I'm not really a fan of strapless but the snow white one is so lovely!

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 12/09/2011 10:20

Are you selling these dresses, OP? ... you seem to have done a fine job of promoting them!

What's wrong with them? They look like wedding dresses. If they didn't have Disney names, nobody would be any the wiser, would they?

Icelollycraving · 12/09/2011 11:18

I love the Cinderella one! I knew I'd have a huge dress when I got married. I wore Connie by Ronald Joyce, I'm crap with links. I still wore it despite getting married in Antigua on the beach. My husband was expecting a simple lightweight dress & was Shock when I arrived at the beach! I felt happy I got my dream dress :)
So op,yabvu!

AbsDuWolef · 12/09/2011 11:35

Woo! Wedding dress dilemma solved! I love the Cinderella one, but there's no way I'm spending £3k and there's no way I'd buy Disney. Poo.

I'm more disturbed by the Disney honeymoons.

Scheherezade · 12/09/2011 11:42

I was actually wanting a dress like Belle's for my wedding. Me and DP are big disney fans, and have no shame in admitting it Grin

Scheherezade · 12/09/2011 11:43

those dresses aren't really anything like the films though. Quite disappointing.
