am f**ked up of every second thread casting judgements on complete strangers. they know nothing about them, get a snap shot of their lives and then make comments and judgements.

if we all looked after our own a bit better than looking at what someone else or the OH or kids are doing/wearing/eating etc the world would be a better place.

i think us women are our own worst enemies at times.

YANBU. I sometimes look at people and judge or admire them but to spend all your time looking at other people is sad.

I never get those travel features that describe a place as great for people-watching either.

You might as well say to your readers: 'you are the type of ugly, badly-dressed people who arrive for the day on coaches with packed lunches filched from the breakfast buffet of your two-star hotel.'

Oh, I get the people-watching abroad. I love sitting at a cafe in a European city and watching the locals go about their business.

It is a natural thing to do, watch and judge. Even if you don't comment, the world is full of people judging everything others do.

A true people watcher actually doesn't give a shite, or judge, but is amused by the different shapes and sights of the human race... its entertainment.

That means we probably do give a shite and judge, but people watching is awesome.

I do get annoyed though with amateur people watchers griping about minor things. A true pro saves it all up for a book they'll never write.

People watching is fun. You can watch without judging.

I never judge people like that as usually I am concentrating on myself and my family getting from a to b. I only ever get bothered by things if it is directly impacting my life. Who cares less what people are wearing or doing?

The only people that do this are people who are insecure and have to put people down to make themselves feel better.

People-watching is the best hobby ever - it costs nothing in effort or money and if you sit watching long enough something interesting always happens.

But I don't judge anyone I watch - I'm just plain curious about them and people in general. Well, nosey would be more accurate

You can watch people without judging them negatively. I like to watch people. I like people by and large. They are the most interesting animal on this planet!

I watch people but I dont get the judging people for letting their kids have a fruit shoot, maccy ds or holding a knife and fork different. Live and let live everyone is different. I save my judgements for the parents I see that dont care about their children and beat them or seriously neglect them.

Also people do things different doesnt mean one way is better than another. I do watch what people are up to but more in a ooh like what shes ordered or listening in to nice places people have been

YABU, people-watching is the best thing about being on the top deck of a bus, you can stare as much as you like watch people and they don't even notice you.
I don't think I'm too judgy, it's usually just for serious crimes like wearing too-tight leggings with your knickers showing through, or yesterday (gasp) a woman throwing her lit cigarette down on the pavement as she walked along, which was both disgusting and dangerous.
Apart from that I'm just interested and just as likely to be drooling over a cute baby or wondering where someone got a fab coat.

I suppose if it is fagbutt you should be thankful you dont have to see on a regular basis children covered in bruises and beaten, being brought up by drug users who dont feed them or clean them. It makes you constantly worry what children are going through out there.Maybe a bit too deep but once you s ee it lots of times other things seem less of a concern unfortunately
