AIBU?

WIBU to call an ambulance?

Am currently pg with twins, and have just had the familiar labour twinges (nothing too strong yet), and I'm starting to worry. Have called the hospital who said to wait until I'm established.

DP and DSes are currently in the lake district visiting GPs, so I'm staying with my friend for the weekend who lives in a lovely, but fairly isolated, converted farmhouse. She is at work at the moment, and I'm feeling nervous because she doesn't get back until about 10pm tonight. :(

WIBU to call an ambulance to get me to hospital if I need to go before my friend gets back?

Would anyone be able to just reassure me please? Am feeling really scared, my CS was scheduled for 3 and a half weeks time, this just feels too early and I am feeling very alone right now.

I'm not a troll, I just need some help :(

No you shouldn't unless your contractions are 3 mins. Get a cab. Been a Paramedic for 15 years. Maternataxis take ambulances away from ill people. You'll get a frontline ambulance with a Paramedic on it. There's no non emergency ambulance the way people are describing.
If you're not contracting that often book a cab. This is why people die.
