..to ask has anyone ever witnessed someone being outed on here??

Ive always wondered if anyone bitch of a SIL has ever replied to a thread about themselves???

I know it happened on a different mums forum i use.

Has anyone witnessed it on here??

I have been around a while and had always been led to believe that Xenia's outings were quite deliberate on her part. If that is not the case and I have misunderstood then I apologise Blush

I know my sister is on here but she doesn't know i am, thankfully she has never said anything nasty about the family, however i do find myself laughing at her posts as she has often occasionally exaggerated the facts Wink

It would be incredibly easy to out me. Over the years I have posted my name, my DC's names, where I live, what my job is... I even have a photo on my profile.

The thing is I'm not actually interesting enough for anyone to care, and I don't post anything on here that I wouldn't say in RL, so it doesn't matter.

People have a right to privacy- if we wanted all and sundry to know our names, we'd post using our own names as usernames. Xenia is a real person, and has just as much a right to privacy as anyone else.

Xenia is real, and I agree, she is just as entitled to her privacy as the rest of us.

If she has been outed then it should be kept as quiet as possible, its bad form to all discuss it via PM's.

Goodness. I know exactly who Xenia is (while she isn't famous its really not that difficult to work out) but wouldn't dream of outing her either on the board or by PM. That's really really bad taste.

I was stalked on here a couple of years ago by dp's bonkers sister. I had all my posts deleted and name changed. Then I had to de-reg and re-reg..... Then Justine accused me of being a troll on the "should we have twitter buttons" thread because I had only just re-regged.......

As I said, I assumed from other people's "I know who Xenia is" that she must be someone famous or at least pretty well known. As it appears she isn't then I'm baffled by why everyone wants to know. Or does everyone assume the same as I did that she must be famous?

Or is who she is really interesting as she actually stacks shelves in Tesco? Wink

I've seen one definite and one probable on baby names threads. That was... interesting. And I think I've seen another couple on more general threads although I can't remember the specifics.

If anyone is desperate to know who Xenia is, it's relatively easy to find out; she's shares a lot of her family details and background here and has featured in the national press under her real name with enough of the same details to be readily identifiable. And I doubt here's anything she posts here that she wouldn't happily stand up and say in person. But there's a difference between that and PMing her identity around like the details of the latest sleb superinjunction.

I had someone identify me. It wasn't the fact that i was identified that pissed me off. it was the way in which they let me know. horrific.

These days i name change alot and miss having the regular name that i am know with. Was having a brief name revival but fear i might have to go find a different name again. I am not a newbie i have been here for far too many hours. just doesn't always feel like that when you have had to name change.
