Oh and my lab puppy has velvety ears.

I also just checked my cat for velvetiness and he is definitely more fluffy but his nose and ears tend towards velvety. He's now in a right mood because I disturbed his kip.

Baby baa lambs are not velvety. They are slightly wiry, a bit like a green scouring pad.

PIGS are the worst. In your brain they're all smooth and, yes maybe a bit velvety, but in reality they are as bristly as a broom
