My neighbourhood is being targeted this evening so we have double locked the doors and gone to bed with household 'weapons' not that we expect that they are targeting houses. Going to sleep with the sound of police helicopters is not nice. However where are these kids parents and what do they THINK their darling kids are up to tonight??? Any responsible parent would keep their children in on nights like tonight for everyone's safety. Parents should take responsibility for their children's actions or maybe some parents asked their kids to try to bring home a 32" (heavy sarcasm).

caramelwaffle · 09/08/2011 00:31

You will be ok TLE!

Put something behind the doors (but keep keys in an easy - for you - place to reach)

Don't watch the news. Find a nice film to watch. Make a cup of hot chocolate.

It's what I am going to do now.

Helicopter has finally moved on from my area.

Have a smoke, pour yourself a glass of something calming and try and think positive things. Difficult, I know when the world appears to be collapsing around you but you will be OK and you will get through the night.

AmberLeaf · 09/08/2011 00:57
