The farm is on the school grounds really or it was when the school was open.

Have you seen what the mansion looks like lately, is it a state there, sorry for the bombarding questions Smile

Teaandcakeplease · 27/09/2011 21:23

There are a lot of buildings surrounding the Langleybury childrens farm. I've never visited the farm or looked at the buildings very much though. Just shot past on the road. Google her school and have a look. Then tell me all. I'd love to know. How close she is to the old school etc. It's cool thinking DD is at a school right by where you once went. Very cool.

CheerfulYank · 28/09/2011 18:38

I lost you! You fell off my radar!

Where are all of you? :)

I bought this coat for DS and it just came in the mail today. What do you think? It reverses to plain navy. I got it for a steal from ebay. Yay me!

Wow...I'm a boring person. :o

valiumredhead · 28/09/2011 19:05

Your link won't load for me yanky - navy is always good though imo!

How are you? :)

CheerfulYank · 28/09/2011 19:09

Good. A bit stressed! This getting to work and school on time while keeping up with everything is hard.

Does this one work? Confused

Teaandcakeplease · 28/09/2011 19:47

Ooo lush coat! The first link worked for me.

I'm still a bit lost looking at Google Earth pictures on which building it is. But the Langleybury childrens farm is open at weekends in October and is peanuts. So come over and visit it and have a peak whilst there, as I think the building is on the Farm land now iyswim?

Maybe it'll bring you peace to do this and dispel the dreams?

Agree with Tea, Tiredmum, I think you should go there if it is not too far for you. Wonder why something is drawing you to it? I think those things are curious...

Teaandcakeplease · 29/09/2011 17:35

OK when I collected DD from school I parked by the childrens farm and took a few pictures. I've added them to my profile. It's just what I could see from the road. Tell me more Tiredmum x

I still cant explain the feeling, tea you know if you carry on up the lane and turn left, that is the drive to the farm and the school, the farm is on the left and if you carry on past that the mansion is sunk back just slightly on the left to go onto the main school grounds you just keep on past the mansion where the driveway carries on and thats it really, all i know if your on google maps that the mansion is covered with white stuff, and the rest of the school grounds is to the left and down slightly, i knew that the loyd family also built the church, some say there is a secret passage built under the mansion all the way down to the church. All the school is still there it just closed in 96, which was my last year at school. They did film hope and glory there and there are some pictures of the inside of the mansion on a film location site in case others wanted to use it or the school for filming, it doesnt look like its changed, its still as creepy, you should try looking for it, i cant link it, sorry, anyways i better stop this essay, maybe i should go back.

Tiredmumno1 · 29/09/2011 17:50
