AIBU to think the Pig Family don't understand naming conventions...

I'm not happy.

ALL the other families in "Oversized Anthropomorphic Animal" land have understood the naming convention.

Your children are called an actual name, that begins with the same letter as your animal type.

They have ALL managed this, except the pig family.

Peppa IS NOT an actual name.

George DOES NOT begin with a P

Neither do their cousins, Chloe and Alexander.

I'm surpriased the registrars let them away with it frankly.

What would have been wrong with Pippa and Peter...EH...???

I bloody hate Miss Rabbit. She is in charge of everything. Drives the train, serves in the shop, runs the firestation.

I love Miss Rabbit. I loved her even more when I thought she was Rebecca and Richard Rabbit's mum and was doing all of those jobs AND raising two children.

Still love her, even though I now know she is the Auntie.

There are more than 1 miss rabbits. (well there are rabbits) but I'm sure I saw one the other week where miss rabbit introduced peppa and George to miss rabbit her sister!

I know there's Mrs Rabbit (the Mum) and Miss Rabbit the sister. Until this thread it never occurred to me that there might be more than one Miss Rabbit!

I just wonder at what Mummy Pig handed in her real name and became a title (job description?). When she became pregnant? When baby Peppa was born?

And what if (shock, scandal, horror!) it was discovered that Daddy Pig was NOT in fact the father of the little pigs cos Mummy Pig was having it away with Mr Zebra would Daddy Pig just become..... Pig? Or get his real name back? Would Peppa and George become the Zebra-Pigs? Am I overthinking this?

that voice just bugs the knickers off me im not kidding! its so precise and clipped she always sounds like she's away to tell everyone off and always sounds angry and smug. she sounds like my aunty Hmm ive given this too much thought havent i Blush i cant bear peppa pig and haven't a clue why 6 yr old DD is watching ben and holly...

Along the same lines although not strictly seeing as we are talking about Peppa Pig. Is Miss Rabbit living on the poverty line? I have never seen anyone do so many jobs - not only does she drive the school bus but she works at the ice rink and the recycling centre and seemingly can only afford to feed her children carrots. I think social services should get involved tbh.

Some on here seem to be saying that there are several Miss Rabbits as well as Mrs Rabbit

I find the vet a bit freaky tbh. In a world of sentient, talking animals, it's a bit wierd that the goldfish and lizard seem to have been given a lobotomy by the lady with the wierd voice. And how come Peppa and co get a visit from Dr Brown Bear the doctor, and go to Dr Elephant the dentist, but some animals have to go to Dr Hamster the vet. Methinks some animals are more equal than others. A bit chilling and Orwellian imo.

We don't like the vet. It's the over-nasal Mancunian accent. I find it very strange that Goldie the goldfish can't speak because she's a fish, but that the other animals can...and that fucking Tiddles Tortoise that gets stuck in the tree.

I'd heard he's called George because mummy pig shagged somebody else.

But there don't seem to be any other pigs around... Apart from daddy pig's brother Shock

I love miss rabbit - same woman does nanny plum's voice on Ben and Holly I think?
