OP, the lottery winners can always lose weight and it will be easier now that they are mega rich. However, you will always be a thoroughly nasty person.

They should have said no to the publicity and pissed off to South America for a year.

Littlemiss great post btw

I'm sad to see the couple who have won the euromillions have now felt they have no other option but to go into hiding along with their children. Sad

They had expressed a desire to remain in their original home, but I am beginning to think this is not going to be a wise decision.

I think I feel a bit Sad for them and more Sad for their children.

notsobusylizzy · 17/07/2011 19:49

I can guarantee that each and every one of you, when you saw the couple, thought "they are very fat".

You might also have thought they were nice, kind, loving, walked with sticks but your first thought was how fat they were. You weren't being nasty thinking that - it's an unavoidable fact.

AgentZigzag · 17/07/2011 19:57

That's as may be for some lizzie, but not everyone would start a thread ridiculing them and inviting others to do the same.

Trying to bolster self esteem by cruely poking fun at other people never works.

smartyparts · 17/07/2011 19:57

My dh said, looking at the paper, 'Two big fat bloaters won the Euromillions'

So yes, I'd agree with notsobusylizzy, it was the first thing he noticed.

I hope it makes them happy - I wouldn't have gone public.

AgentZigzag · 17/07/2011 19:57

Sorry lizzy not lizzie.

Agree with every word misssarcastic. I've always thought more than a million would be a curse.

They looked really nice, normal, happy people :) Hope they enjoy their win. Lots of Biscuit to the jealous nay-sayers! :o

Sad to hear they have had to go into hiding with their children who are grown up & will have their own lives until their parents won the money.

littlemiss is right about the happy dream but in reality it all sounds quite scary.
