by a car park attendant!!!!!!

Yes a car park attendant.

I dropped Alfie (DS2) at nursery - (his nursery is in the hospital grounds), 10 mins walk from my house, i went in the car as i dropped Jack (DS1) at school first which is further away.

I couldnt park in one of the designated parking bays because there were a van with its bonnet up, a car parked there and a hospital transport van parked ACROSS the other bay. So i parked at the side of another car opposite the nursery.

As i was driving out of the nursery part, a car park attendant (dressed in a uniform, thinks hes a copper, that kinda thing) flagged me down to stop. So i stopped then he said

'2 things, this car park is a 15mph zone, i dont appreciate you doing 30, 35, 40mph into the grounds and secondly you cant park there, where you just parked.'

So i said '1stly, i didnt exactly speed, i was doing 20mph, there was a car in front of me (i know 5mph over the limit but not the speed he said i was doing) then i said ''and secondly the car park is full, where else am i to park?'
then i said
''wheres the signs?''
He said
''Over there - whilst pointing.'' (which are not do not park here signs they are dangerous equipment in this building signs)

so i said ''well they need to be bigger''
Then as he was walking off he shouted

''You have glasses, you can read''

Grrrr so i shouted 'you WHAT?' and he said it again

So i just shouted 'ohh fuck off'

Its made me very angry now. iv told DH and DH said 'ohh looks like im coming with you to pick Alfie up then'

Grrrr who does he think he is. Hes a ticket attendant ffs. yeah i admit i was speeding 5mph over the limit but FM calling me blind?? Theres no need for that. I probably am BU but there was no need for his attitude, if he had just come up to me to talk, rather than lecture and abuse me then fair do's but he didnt.

Go on burn me with your torches, i dont care, i've being on forums long enough to know when IABU, and i admitted earlier, (if anyone bothered to read it) but i admit i was in the wrong and if he had came to me in a polite(r) manner than things would ahve been different but he didnt. He came to me as if he was a copper.

Hmm Anger management? Yes maybe so, but over the years i have learnt to control my anger by taking it out on my DH Wink screaming into a pillow Grin No im joking, everyone gets mad dont they once in a while?

"everyone gets mad dont they once in a while?"

It's all about perspective OP, and some things - this being one of them - are just not worth getting angry about.

Screaming fuck off out of your window at this carpark attendant immediately put you in the wrong, whatever his attitude. And as you know, he was actually in the right and you were going above the speed limit and you parked illegally.

Really, save your anger until you really do have something to be angry about.

Burn You? Oh dearie me. Don't you realise that this sort of treatment is only meted out to those of us whose beliefs deserve it? Not for irritable young wimmin who tell parking attendants to fuck off from behind the safety of their car windows while the music is turned up loudly?

Get a grip, fgs!

Told you. Right up there on post two. I told you.

Now stop being mean everyone. The OP has been suitably 'sat on' as they say in St.Claires.

I wonder if you can get a 'Not you officer' tee-shirt on ebay? What this thread needs is a dodgy ebay clothes expert.

Oh, wait!

Now if this was a comedy thread it would be a classic! The gags are all there, the quick wit - it's just too good! That the OP isn't even trying to be funny makes it even better! OP if they bring back Big Brother I think you HAVE to be a contestant.

I love you M0naLisa btw. Grin

YABU as you told him to fuck off!

I totally agree that we all loose our temper sometimes but at the end of the day he was only doing his job (even if he came across as an arrogant sod - your reaction means you came off looking much worse than him).

Deep breath next time, its not worth your energy

So I heard! I shall be tuning in and if I don't hear at least one 'fuck off' then I shall be very very disappointed.

Hey I know! Will you be saying anything on the telly? Could you slip a word in? Like, 'sausage rolls' for instance?

Who?

Look if I'm going to have to sit through TM just to watch you then the least you can do is slip a word in. Ok, this is the word, I'll make it easy for you: fecker.

Ok just kidding! See if you can say sausage roll in one of your sentences.

I'll join you if you don't mind ML, I feel very unreasonable today and nearly got upset when the checkout bloke didn't say please when he was asking for the cash.

I'm blaming it on the weather/not being wine o'clock yet/state of world affairs Smile

Oh Mona you are funny. So today you've learnt how to cross things out, how to use italics and bold, not to speed, not to park in the wrong place and not to yell abusive things at parking attendents. Well done! I wonder what you will learn tomorrow?

No ramming ladies in the arse with trolloy at the supermarket because they told you off for queue jumping

No poking old ladies in the back with your iphone becaue they're not moving fast enough at opening time at Weatherspoons.

No (and this is very important Mona) throwing empty cans at squirrels because they looked at you funny.

Oh what fun it would be to be a fly on the wall in the life of Mona [hgrin]
