Three jars.

Three spaces.

Coffee on the left.

Sugar on the right.

Tea snuggly warm in the middle.

Or is there a comestible fairy that visits in the night and play three card monte with them? And people daren't play fast and loose with guessing which is which what's the fecking worst that cam happen?

Eradication Of Worded Vessels.

TSC in this house and i one of my pet hate when DH moves them around

whysolate · 10/07/2011 22:11

No Chaos! Coffee on the left, sugar in the middle and tea on the right. DH had to be severely repremanded today for switching the sugar and tea vessel round. . In the event of my vessel's not having CTS on the front the outcome could have been catostrophic!!!

Also, when making a hot beverage my cup must be on the right (because I'm always right) and DH's on the left.

CSTS in this house.... brown sugar for coffee, white sugar for tea Grin

Actually you should have 4, arranged in a sort of pyramid with a coffee jar in between the back 2

So it's fruit tea (jar of coffee)brown sugar (L to R at the back) &
Tea, white sugar (L to R at the front)

No labels

BelleDameSansMerci · 10/07/2011 22:14

TSC here - coffee is merely tolerated. Tea is essential and thus must be first in line.

OddBoots · 10/07/2011 22:15

Our coffee lives in the freezer so we have stuck a label over the coffee one for 'decaf tea'. ~awaits the horror~

whysolate · 10/07/2011 22:15

.....and you must never, not ever, drink the last inch of tea in your cup.

Bad things will happen.

Mine is sugar, tea and then coffee nestled in front to form a triange.

No labels needed all are completely different jars/pots.

AuntiePickleBottom · 10/07/2011 22:23

i got offical TSC, they have the words on the vessel....my mother bought them for me, best present ever

Tee2072 · 10/07/2011 22:24

Nope. CF. Coffee flour.

I rarely use sugar, only drink coffee, cook with flour constantly. And DH uses sweeteners.

Tee2072 · 10/07/2011 22:26

Oh and there are no labels. Clear jars and if you can't tell coffee from flour you should probably see a doctor!

T and S but no C. I only know one person who drinks C so it is better kept in its own screw topped jar until needed.

Tee2072 · 10/07/2011 22:44

Sauces!

shmoz · 10/07/2011 22:48

I have 3 (non worded) canisters, they all have tea in Smile

Coffee is relegated to the cupboard in its jar of purchase, sugar also lives in the cupboard but resides in a 50's diner style sugar dispenser.

Flour is only occasionally allowed out.

ChunkyPickle · 10/07/2011 22:50

I HATE multi-use things with labelling.. those horrid plates with "PASTA", mugs with "TEA", planks with "PIZZA" etc...

However I can just about cope with labelled CTS (or TCS - but S is definitely on the right).. if only because I know that DH will pick the wrong one without fail each time otherwise.

I suppose glass is an option.

BelleDameSansMerci · 10/07/2011 23:14

whysolate is right. The last inch of tea is forbidden...

One of my friends asked my then DP (hah!) if there was something wrong with how she makes tea as I never drink it all. He had to report it was the same whoever made the tea Grin

I think this comes from tea made with tealeaves (not bags) and finding all sorts at the bottom of cup.

PigletJohn · 10/07/2011 23:14

coffee in the freezer, tea on the worktop (big box of PG tips), sugar in the cupboard (in a glass jar). No need for labels.

startail · 10/07/2011 23:19

Tea in box on widow sill or the prats get it wet, coffee in it's jar, sugar in novelty pot. No order they just have to fight it out with the kettle, several types of squash and anything that can't be dishwashed.
