if there is a MN clique? Someone mentioned it on a thread and I'm now wondering if everyone knows each other in person?

I went to a meet up a few months ago. Didn't know anyone at all. Terrifying yet in a good way.

Cliques are mostly people having a shared interest or a shared sense of humour. They just evolve I think.

hully I doubt they'd take offence at being called the vampire porny people!

BoF I wasn't aware of the Crepey Hags clique, but I feel I ought to be in it

I wouldn't say I am in any particular clique, but I am on some quite specific threads continuously, which don't feel at all cliquey. As I said upthread, there are the usual drunken bums, which I suppose to someone looking in mid thread can look cliquey and utterly mad and incomprehensible and of course I only lurk on those threads ....

But surely in many ways, as in RL, there are certain people that one will just click with, others we may nod good morning too and others that we will avoid at all costs. I have only been posting on here since late January, but once I took the plunge I have never felt 'left out' or intimidated (bar one horrible moment, but that also showed me just how lovely random strangers can be).

You horrid lot missed my first and excellent stroll into HaikuVille.
