I think it will achieve nothing Just as KK achieved nothing from her 'bi polar' from which she is now 'cured' and any number of slebs who use issues to promote their sad little lives.

I haven't read the article but I read about Frankie Boyle's comments - she was right to stand up for her son, and anyone making fun of disabled children like he did deserves to get told off. I couldn't believe he actually tried to justify his comments to a mother (not Katie Price, but another mother with a disabled child) in the audience who had paid to watch his show.

Katie Price maybe lots of things but I tell you something, people saying
she is odious and fails to reach people as a normal struggling parent
and a despicable self serving chav
an attention seeking tramp that shouldn't be dragging her children into the spotlight for her own benefit

and lots lots more nasty horrible accusations and opinions...

This lady quietly and with no media coverage and no PA(personal assistant not that fuckwit ex) , deliberately and purposefully sought out an acquaintance of mine who at 17years old gave birth to her first child who has the same or very similar condition as Harvey.
She visited this town I live in at the back end of nowhere with high unemployment and a rather well earned violent press. Visited the young girl and her baby lots of times (may still do for all I know) and has supported her and been a shoulder to cry on . My friend has had KP personal mobile number . KP was amazingly honest and gave my friend fantastic support with an empathy and reality that only those that have walked in the shoes can.
There was no display of showiness, no " look at me" Just one mum to another chats and helpful advice.
She sat drinking coffee in a tiny sparse kitchen of a flat on an almost ghetto like estate. She arranged for this baby to have the best possible treatment (which continues) from the best doctors .
Yep she may be lots of things but she is genuine. She is honest about who she is and what she is unlike the last two moronic husbands Peter Andre pimps his kids to the press with his mock display of "look at me being a good dad"
Katie Price just gets on with it..
No one , not anyone, can ever know the true story of who or what people are, unless we are actually there. What we do is make judgements on speculation and media frenzy...

I am as guilty as everyone else for that too, but this time I know for real and for sure that there is a genuine loving and unspoilt fantastic mother behind the mask of KP. One which is private and genuinely caring, giving and totally for no reason other than she just is.

I've always thought she was amazing with Harvey. Forget about the rest of it.

Well written article, whether katie wrote it or not but Frankie Boyle should have a think about how he'll be perceived by his own children once they are older and find out what he said about Harvey.

Not Kp but have had dealinsg with another well known celebrity and well they are nothiong like you see in the papers and what they did there is no publicity at all from it and agreement was that pictures were to remain private for my family only .Something they do that is personal

I have little time for KP and totally agree with whoever it was who said she presents as "dead inside."
I still vividly remember the scene on her reality show with PA when he arrived home late evening with Junior, then a baby, who had been away in Cyprus with his grandparents for several weeks. She had gone to bed as "she was tired" and didn't even wait up to greet him!
She also said on camera to PA re: the gorgeous Junior, "Oh Pete, give me a child who looks like me and I might bond with it."
But I have to say, she comes across as a different person when she's with Harvey. It's the only time I've ever seen an atom of warmth in her.
I agree she couldn't have written that piece in the paper - the turns of phrase are not hers, but I presume that she had input into it and that the sentiments are hers.

She's not stupid, she's a savvy business woman. So she's a media whore - her choice. I am not a fan of hers at all but I think she has every right to make a fuss about this.

I don't believe the article was contributed to by her in any way. She is supremely inarticulate and stupid. From what I've seen of her on her reality shows she displays a startling lack of empathy bordering on sociopathic. Her oxygen is publicity and attention.

The article is manipulative and contrived to suck the sentimentalists in. There is nothing about her I would aspire to as a woman or a mother

If there's one thing KP is sublimely good at it's sucking softass halfwits right in! I know some people who knew her before Harvey was born and let's just say she really is no better than she ought to be.

And she had Harvey 9 years ago...People change. parenthood changes people. And parenting a disabled child most certainly changes people.
