BILB is pretty awful, not only because of Kiera "Two by Four" Kneightley. The lead woman is also an unspeakably awful actress, and completely ruined ER for me when she starred in that. She's so awful, I've blanked her name from my memory.

However, BILB is saved by Jonathan Rhys Meyer's lip acting, and you are therefore unreasonable.

In any case, Sex and the City 2 is the very worst film in the history of cinema by a country mile.

Yes, Miffles, sob, sob, I'm having withdrawal symptoms and having to make do with Luther as a poor substitute. TGW series 3 starts in the US in the Autumn, I think, we'll probably get it in early 2012.

Saw the remake of 'the day the earth stood still' last week (was on telly) - it was very erm....unfinished - not enough Gort! Although i thought Keanu Reeve's acting as an expressionless wooden unemotional alien was fantastic.

You can get Luther on Iplayer, Miffles, but don't watch it alone or in the dark. Stars Idris Elba from the Wire, and another fantastic, should win an Oscar pair of lips in the form of Ruth Watson, who plays a fabulously psychotic physicist.

Anything directed by or written by Richard Curtis is bound to be a huge pile of steaming bobbins. Love Actually? No, throw up, actually, Richard.

Was the same director responsible for the unspeakable Bride & Prejudice? That's got to be up there somewhere, although the leads are admittedly gorgeous beyond reason and gives you a reason to carry on watching (albeit in horror from behind a cushion)
