to ask if to ask why men have a better sense of humour than women?

Was discussing this with my mate in the pub earlier. Why are women just not as funny (generally speaking) as men? Where are all the great women comedians? I can only think of Victoria Wood and that chubby one with the grey hair. It's just weird.

I think women have by far better SOH than men, generally speaking, more depth, warmth, subtlety. Maybe not in a 'public' comedian way, but among each other, just read some of the hilarious stuff on here!

Well I could provide the obvious DuelingFanjoSun - ie all the great comedians, comic writers etc have been men.
But for me it is the more subtle stuff in every day life. I can count on one hand the number of genuinely witty women I have ever met, literally. Even on this forum, the humour content is poor considering the level of traffic.

Women tend to save their humor for "men" smart enough to get it. Also I very much doubt (going by your sheer narrow minded posts) That you have much knowledge about great comic writers but I'm sure Google will be you best friend in this thread.
