Some posters pop up on threads of varied and often complicated topics and manage to have a well formed opinion on it, know all the facts and figures and put their point accross eloquently? Makes me feel a bit dim at times Blush AIBU?

I am wondering if the posters that you think are knowledgeable about everything are the same ones that other posters dismiss for being full o'shite? Or just the ones that say the same thing every time the issue comes up, referring each time to their Big Book of Smartarsed Answers?
One person's fabulously clever is another's smug know it all, after all

ChaosTrulyReigns · 20/06/2011 19:57

Did you C&P that SueP?

TrilllianAstra · 20/06/2011 20:05

I suspect some people run off to google quite quickly. I'm not implying that they want to be seen as clever, it's from a genuine desire to help.

Am I in the Munsnet Rules? I can't be arsed buying it otherwise, but as I never really talk about children, I'm probably not.

Asinine · 20/06/2011 21:36

I got my copy of mn rules today, it's ten times better than I expected. I didn't recognise most of the names, though, as I'm a newbie and it was probably compiled last year.

TrilllianAstra · 20/06/2011 21:38

Do you also have a Bollock-Bumper Book Reality, for when DP steps out of line?

Honeydragon · 20/06/2011 21:39
