Decided after being here for a whole month how hostile you are to newbies and how bitchy you are.
I've never heard so much swearing in my life and you call yourself adults?
So I'm off to Netmums to a more mature forum.
Have fun insulting each other :)

Yes Alan's we should all have Alan's. Alan's all round.

I have a Spike in the garage. He's a bit mildewy though and it makes dh sad that I havent looked after him properly. He was scaring the children though.

SuePurblybilt · 17/06/2011 22:49

I am quite wanting an Alan now. Scarecrow by day, someone to talk to of an evening

AnyFuleKno · 17/06/2011 22:54

look what you twats have fucking done now, driving innocent huns away with your fucking swearing, you're a shower of shite and no mistake

AnyFuleKno · 17/06/2011 22:55
pigletmania · 17/06/2011 22:58

YABVVVVVVU generalising and tarring us all with the same brush. Well I'm off to Gansnet now bye bye Grin

UrsulaBuffay · 17/06/2011 23:00

we had a cardboard cutout of a john smiths beer advert man once.

Men stole him and took compromising photos and posted them to me mam.

SuePurblybilt · 17/06/2011 23:01

That really smiley one? I bet you miss him.
If I can't have an Alan I'd like a Trevor McDonald.

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 17/06/2011 23:02

I'm very fowl, in fact I am a duck.

Omigawd · 17/06/2011 23:04

@Chaz, no dear, thats not a "d"....

UrsulaBuffay · 17/06/2011 23:04

Yes that's the one, I googled but couldn't find him :(

I'd best of all like a Fred the weatherman

NonnoMum · 17/06/2011 23:04

I don't swear. (much).

But I am a bit mean to newbies.

Especially if they seem a bit unhinged.

SuePurblybilt · 17/06/2011 23:09

My aunt used to knit his jumpers. I loved him, speshly the jumping bit, he was so beautifully inept.

We could have all the weathermen. I like Michael Fish. There is also an excellent Drunk Weatherman on TV3 in Ireland, we could have him.

UrsulaBuffay · 17/06/2011 23:11

Srsly I am awed by your aunt, you just drop that casually into conversation. I never really knew who you were and now...WOW

NonnoMum · 17/06/2011 23:12

Purlease link to the drunk weatherman in Ireland...

TalcAndTurnips · 17/06/2011 23:12

I once had a dalliance with a large fibreglass butcher. He stood there, outside Mr Butch ("Pleased to Meet You - Meat to Please You"), in rain or shine, hands on hips, proud belly thrust forward - the saucy fecker. How could I resist?

After a few weeks, the lack of conversation began to pall - no amount of free cumberland whorls or chump chops can replace that special art of being able to talk, breathe and move about a bit. I've learnt my lesson.

SuePurblybilt · 17/06/2011 23:12

I know. It wasn't just her, he had a team of women designers and also mad harpies fans used to send them in.

UrsulaBuffay · 17/06/2011 23:14

I hate it when I laugh and make DH look up from his XBOX but the dalliance with the fibreglass butcher just pushed me over the edge Grin

UrsulaBuffay · 17/06/2011 23:14

he says I've to go to bed now :( he noticed

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 17/06/2011 23:17

Omigawd

MadameBoo · 17/06/2011 23:17

YABU. I don't hang around in AIBU very much - but I know that people will be brutally honest here - that's what this bit is for.

The bits of MN I spend most of my time on are fab and I have been touched every now and then by people being supportive. I remember a thread last year when mumsnetters helped a poster through what turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy - that was the first time I'd seen the 'nest of vipers' swing into action. They were brill.

I think that there is still a level of bitchiness on Netmums but it's covert. At least here you know where you stand with people, even if they are telling you to fuck off!

SuePurblybilt · 17/06/2011 23:21

Me too Usual. But I am worried that he tells you what to do. Is he actually your Dad?

MadameBoo · 17/06/2011 23:22

Hark at me being all serious. Just read fred. Bunch of freaks. I'm off to Netmums. Wink

FunnysInTheGarden · 17/06/2011 23:24

yawn, just update me as and when. Did she come back, was she real etc etc?

Jux · 17/06/2011 23:26

Does anyonenhave any idea what the op's usuall posting name was? I need to swear on one of her threads or I'll feel I've missed outSad

(you don't think it's the cook guy who wants to teach us how to cook from scratch whilst holding down a full time job - every day - do you?)

Omigawd · 17/06/2011 23:28

@Chaz that was said with my best Dorothy Parker emoticon :)
