To fart in front of my DH?

I think its wierd that you don't, especially as he does. No secrets here, DH and I fart in front of each other. Its not the 1940's anymore.

when we were first dating, he wouldn't fart in front of me - I even asked him if he ever actually farted
mainly because I needed to and I wasn't going to leave the room to do it!

Now he farts all the time in front of me and laughs when I do it...

To be honest I'm not particularly bothered just wondered if others do it too!

We all fart away quite happily here. If DH raised an eyebrow at any of mine I would take it as a compliment

YANBU. It's natural. There's always a horrified contingent on these threads and it mystifies me. You live with him. He's probably seen your genitals from a variety of unattractive angles. You've exchanged bodily fluids. What's the deal with a bit of wind?!

Give it a year or two - you will be competitive farting, not apologising.

I wouldn't. But then I can't even go to the toilet upstairs if DH is anywhere upstairs at the same time.

My dh hates it when I fart in front of him. Even though he is a champion farter himself and proud of it. I let a couple of small ones out in bed last night and he started tutting and huffing. Twat.

WhoAteMySnickers Doesn't that make life really difficult though? What about when you are in a hotel room in the en suite? Do you make him leave the room?

I know in the early days of a relationship it is not necessarily something you might want to do, but after they have seen you give birth, anything goes.

I am pregnant and full of wind. My DH does usually do this face but I told him I can't help it now, it's for the good of me and the baybee

erm, I'm not claiming that I am reasonable but after almost 12 years and 4 babies I haven't. I'm not a particularly windy person but I would leave the room if I needed to! I also run the tap when I'm going for a no2, so he doesn't hear! Ridiculous, I know. He farts in front of me, and laughs! I've complained and told him to go the bathroom to do it and he says that he would live in the bathroom if he had to do that. He thinks I'm ridiculous and says I fart in my sleep all the time so I'm fooling no one!
