To think this article on pubic hair topiary is depressing

Can't believe a woman wrote it. I thought that the Health Guidance website that its on is a serious health website, I think Heat magazine would be ashamed to write such drivel.

topiary

ignoring you TimeWasting. I'm just finding it tiresome, really....

Ormirian · 13/06/2011 19:45

Hmmm...'tidy'. I don't think the article was too concerned about tidiness.

PinotGrigiosKittens · 13/06/2011 19:45

at catgirl and pumpy and Onion

And if I'm going to have a stencilled vajayjay I want a pussy

Time I mean no offence, but by golly you do sound imperious and a tad self-righteous. Is that your intention? I must ask lest I fail to understand correctly.

TheFlyingOnion · 13/06/2011 19:46

the article was fucking silly, Ormirian. I think everyone was agreed on that...

Mordred · 13/06/2011 19:47

bang on about the effect of a full brazilian on the male libido ime....

Oh it would have an effect on MY libido right enough. It'd make me run very fast in the opposite direction.

PinotGrigiosKittens · 13/06/2011 19:48

The article was silly so the thread about the article was silly.

Or it was, until it got laden with guffyguff.

TimeWasting · 13/06/2011 19:49

Tiresome? There was me thinking you simply had no effective argument.

Pinot, I wouldn't say that's my intention, no. I try to be succinct.

PinotGrigiosKittens · 13/06/2011 19:51

I like succinct.

I prefer fun.

TheFlyingOnion · 13/06/2011 19:52

I'm not arguing anything with anyone TW, because I don't give a fuck what you or anyone else on this thread does with their fanjo. Hair down to your knees, dyed bright red... I'm never going to have to look at it so I don't give a rat's ass.

We were having fun, until you came along and got offended. Way to sap the humour, TimeWasting.

OMG yes blokes unfortunately do seem to care. I post on another (male-dominated) forum where this topic comes up regularly. And most of the men seem to favour as little hair as possible down there. The exceptions are the men over about 45 who find it a bit paedo. There seems to be a very clear age divide on this one.

I am a bit on the fence on this. I think it is womanly and adult to have pubes. But OH loves giving oral and prefers not to floss while he is down there, so I take most of it off these days.

pumpernickel10 · 13/06/2011 20:10

Don't leave me all alone

PinotGrigiosKittens · 13/06/2011 20:12

pumpy we're on chat "a safe thread" come over its fun there

5DollarShake · 13/06/2011 20:20

I get annoyed by people who think a 'nature's intended' bush is horrible. As for people saying someone else's bush 'turns their stomach' - get a fucking grip! And a bit of perspective, in the general scheme of things.

FWIW I keep mine trimmed when I can be bothered but then again, my DH isn't an arsehole, and takes me whichever way he finds me.

I shave my legs only when they will be seen, so rarely in winter and more often in summer - only because I know I will be judged by others if I don't. Pathetic on my part really, but there you go. :)

Loving Time Wasting's work on this thread - winding TFO up into a whirling dervish. Grin

TheOriginalFAB · 13/06/2011 20:24

OMG Hmm.

teraspawn · 13/06/2011 20:24

I think pubic hair is sexy, I must be very unusual.

usualsuspect · 13/06/2011 20:28

I think I'm one of the Professionally Offended

but you have no idea about the fucks I do not give

alexpolismum · 13/06/2011 20:29

Perhaps some blokes care, eurochick. But in my experience, they care more about actually getting some sex rather than the length of their partner's pubes.

northernrock · 13/06/2011 20:30

In America it seems to be the usual to be totally bare down there. I think more men there get it all off too, although I never came into contact with one!
I think it is a similar mentality to the one about men having to be circumcised "because it's cleaner"
Interestingly my ex (American) liked, as Samantha in SaTC says "A full bush" and he wasn't circumscised either.
I shaved once and was seriously freaked out by looking down at a view I had not seen since the age of 11. It really does look a bit wrong in my view.
I quite fancy having it heart shaped though. Groovy!
