Can't believe a woman wrote it. I thought that the Health Guidance website that its on is a serious health website, I think Heat magazine would be ashamed to write such drivel.

Do those who are really 'anti' trimming their bush not shave their legs, shave their under arms, pluck eyebrows etc?

What if you find a stray hair on your chin..do you leave that where it is too?

northernrock · 13/06/2011 18:58

Of course it's not actually meant to be read O Manatee. I barely got thru it just now!

TheFlyingOnion · 13/06/2011 19:00

its fucking boring - I think that's one thing we can all agree on...

And I don't think pubic hair is a feminist issue either Wink

catgirl1976 · 13/06/2011 19:02

right....im off to shave some bunny ears into my muff
laters

TheFlyingOnion · 13/06/2011 19:05

nah not worth it Grin

PinotGrigiosKittens · 13/06/2011 19:13

What an odd character TimeWasting is.

alexpolismum · 13/06/2011 19:22

worraliberty - I can't speak for any other woman who does not trim her bush, but no, I do not shave my legs or under arms and I do not pluck my eyebrows. I don't seem to have any stray hairs on my chin, I don't know what I will do when I find one. I can't understand the fuss, tbh. Why the 'worry' about hairy women?

OracleInaCoracle · 13/06/2011 19:23

I shave my legs and underarm and pluck my eyebrows, but infrequently. as I said, I am not hairy, and only do the bare minimum

TimeWasting · 13/06/2011 19:27

Odd? I'm pretty unusual I suppose.

I'm a little at a loss for words actually. I keep forgetting that many people don't understand how language affects thought and the way the media and fashion works.

I don't think that any one individual man is necessarily a paedophile for liking 'baby-soft' vulvas (and legs), it's part of the infantilisation of women in our society. Women are treated like children. And when it's as fucking obvious as shaving off pubes it's so obvious it turns my stomach.

TimeWasting · 13/06/2011 19:28

Very obvious, obviously. Grin

TheFlyingOnion · 13/06/2011 19:30

"I keep forgetting that many people don't understand how language affects thought and the way the media and fashion works."

Yes thats it, TW; we don't understand Hmm

Are you one of the marching hoarde of professionally offended "feminists" then?

Actually don't answer that, cos I don't actually care...

catgirl1976 · 13/06/2011 19:35

A full on bush turns my stomach.

pumpernickel10 · 13/06/2011 19:37

Me too cat my lady garden as been patioed over

notimetotidy · 13/06/2011 19:37

Just read the article - but not this whole thread. You can get STENCILS!!! hahahahahahaha

TheFlyingOnion · 13/06/2011 19:38

Arf @ "patioed" Grin

Pubes in the teeth turns my stomach...

TimeWasting · 13/06/2011 19:38

I don't think I'm especially offended. Gobsmacked, yes.

The words we use affect the way we think. You didn't understand this. Therefore, yes. You don't understand.

You've been much more offended than I have as far as I can see.

I am a feminist though, yes.

TheFlyingOnion · 13/06/2011 19:38

Do they do ponies, notime?

I frickin love ponies, me Grin

catgirl1976 · 13/06/2011 19:40

Thats right. I dont understand how words effect they way we think. I barely think at all really except about what style of vajazzle my darling husband might find most attractive

usualsuspect · 13/06/2011 19:41

There are some odd posters on here ...I don't think TimeWasting is one of them

Ormirian · 13/06/2011 19:42

Quite, usual Hmm

The odd ones are the ones who could read that article and not find it depressing and unpleasant,

TheFlyingOnion · 13/06/2011 19:43

Purple. Purple and glittery and in the shape of a pony.

Now, who could fail to be turned on by a fanjo like that? Grin

TheFlyingOnion · 13/06/2011 19:43
catgirl1976 · 13/06/2011 19:44

i read an article the other day about the levels of child poverty in the uk. I found that depresing and unpleasant. I then read an article about pubic hair which I found silly and of little importance.

But then I got annoyed by people who think a tidy vagina incites peadophillia

Omigawd · 13/06/2011 19:44

Does anybody think blokes care? As far as I can see they're usually up and ready long before the landing strip appears
